Description

We, Julia and Nicolas, are an adventurous couple that has left their steady home to live a stray life. We are chasing the sun and cool places and we love to be outdoors and active (mountainbiking, skateboarding, Acro Yoga etc.).

We live and travel in our van that we built ourselves. We have learned a lot during building and maintaining the van and love being independent thanks to it. We have explored Spain for a few months and are looking forward to get to know Portugal.

We are always up for fun and are optimistic, organised, open minded and handy with quite some things. Through workaway, we hope to contribute to interesting and meaningful projects and to get to know the local life of various places. Of course, we also enjoy meeting people and sharing experiences.

Julia knows quite well about agriculture, soil and the environment due to her degree in soil biology. She has some experience in gardening and is very curious and eager to learn new things. She has spent quite some time abroad (studying, travelling) and thus has a high level of english and a decent level of Spanish. Her interests lie in sustainable agriculture, alternative ways of living and environmental projects.

Nicolas knows well to repair bikes (and other stuff), is a very good driver and has basic maintenance skills. He is very imaginative, especially when it comes to finding solutions, and he is great with explaining and teaching things. Moreover he possesses management skills at an academic level, e.g. Sustainability Management, and profound First Aid skills and knowledge.
