  • Description

Hello, I'm Tadhg I am 24 years old just out of university. I am from country Cork in Ireland and I have a passion for travelling. I have just finished my degree in social sciences in University College Cork. Although I have spent the last few years in uni I have always worked hard throughout this time, whether it is on building sites, gardening or working in a shop.

I'm also very keen to help those who are in not in the best situations I have volunteered in a number of homeless kitchens both here in Cork and in London and this has given me the confidence to meet and greet new people and show compassion and care when needed.

I have a number of hobbies including fishing, swimming and fitness, I do not drink so my hobbies and work are important to me, keeping active and myself occupied is when I am at my happiest, love to work with both people and animals.
Education is also very important to me as well as opening my mind to new experiences, whether its new music, new way of thinking or a new language I am always intrigued and eager to learn.

Hi, I'm Gemma I am 23. I graduated in 2020 with a Bachelors's Degree in general nursing and have since been working on an oncology/ cancer ward as a registered nurse. From a young age, I have set out to help others in anyway that I can which is why I find my work so fulfilling. I love to meet new people hear their stories and try to make their day better with kindness. Also as part of my job I am constantly problem solving, working in teams, communicating with other professionals and the patient's families. I am always eager to learn more and will take any opportunity on board.
I have been a member of the Irish Red Cross for 13 years contributing 3-20 hours a week to training, teaching, fundraising, or providing medical cover to local events. As well, delivering essential items to those vulnerable members in the community.
Also, a Part-time leader with Scouting Ireland, providing medical demonstrations to the youth members or acting as a leader on hiking events.
In February 2015, I traveled to Calcutta, under The Hope Foundation working with orphans experiencing immense poverty. I am open to learning new skills, I am hard working and will try anything.

  • More details about your skills

I have a lot of experience on construction sites as both a skilled operative and a general laborer. My last job on site was for masons which is very tough and demanding work which I am not afraid of and actually enjoy physically demanding work.

I have also worked as a handy man/ manager for 20 apartments that were all on airbnb, which saw a lot of tourists coming and going. In this line of work I carried out general repairs to furniture, walls, toilets and cookers. Also in this line of work I would message guests about there apartments and I was the first point of contact if anything went wrong.

While in university I also developed good I.T skills as I was elected as a chairperson for a political society on campus. While I was chairperson I also improved my organisational skills as we frequently traveled around the country. Taking charge of 30 to 50 college students is a tough job but one I enjoyed all the same.
