Hello everyone and greetings from Lithuania!
My name is Eglė, I'm future primary school teacher, but currently I am still a student. I chose to become a teacher, because, in my opinion, teacher is a person who not only educates young people, but also inspires, encourages, and forms authority.
Little bit about myself: I love doing sports, I have been training martinal arts for 12 years now. Besides that, I participate in long-distance running competitions. I love hiking, but since we have no mountains in Lithuania, I only get to enjoy a few days in the mountains when I wisit them in the summer (the same is with skiing).
I'm also a bookworm. I like the classics the most, but I read all kinds of literature.
And the last thing that makes me happy is nature. I love spending time in woods, near lakes or somewhere quite. I'm now smiling just thinking about long walks with my dog somehere in woods:)
I would say I'm quite, shy and calm person, I'm not very outgoing or adventurous. I have never volunteered somewhere abroad, but this is the experience that I was dreaming about for the past few years. I'm learning italian and opportunity to live in Italy and communicate with native speakers sound so fascinating. This is the best opportunity to get so close to true culture and the most effective way to learn language. The more I think about it, the more I feel that "workaway" is the experience that would bring so many warm memories and let me to know a lot wonderful people.Interests

I'm learning italian language by myself, but it is extremely difficult to master it. I believe that being surrounded by this language (living in Italy, hear it everyday and being forced to speak it everyday) is hard, but most effective way to learn this language and at least touch Italian culture a little. I am not native english speaker and I can't speak it fluent, but I can teach it as much as I know myself. And if you are interested in Lithuanian language - I will gladly share my knowledge with you :)Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn

I have experience working with children, as I currently work as a tutor (with math and lithuanian language). Besides that, for the past 2 years I have been working as a robotics teacher (I lead children's groups with "Lego" constructors). Moreover, last school year I volunteered at an elementary school (I was teacher's assistant). So I have the most work experience with children. However, I learn quickly and can do other works as well (for example, I live in the village so gardening is not something new for me) :) And doing some new things is always challenging, but useful and adventurous, right?

What else ...
My other passion is motorcycles. I got my driver's license 5 years ago and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The best trips and the most beautiful places were reached together wit my Honda.
Have I mention that I'm the young gardener? Every summer I grow and tend flowers and herbs and every winter I plan what flowers I will plant next summer:)
And the last but not least fact about me is that I'm a huge Harry Potter fan (if you doubt about that - I have read all books 3 times). Some more information
