Hi there, this is Lorenzo from Milano, Italy!
I have decided to quit my job and routinely life to explore the world discovering new places, meeting new people, learning new cultures and languages but most of all having fun making great experiences. After several years chasing a stable life I have realized that instability is much more interesting! I know when this lifetime adventure will start but no clue of when it will end and it's an amazing feeling.
I want to change my life style, stop to run all the time because of crazy work deadlines, take a break from the stress of living in a big city and reconnect with the nature, with a more relaxed and slow pace that works better for me.
I was born and raised in Milano but now I feel the urgency to move away from Italy to discover all the beautiful things the world can offer.
I am always keen to learn new things and meet new people. I love nature, plants and animals and would be amazing to cultivate these passions with workaway.
I am here because I really want to deeply immerse myself in new cultures, learning from local people how is to live in their country and make proficient cultural exchanges. I am not looking just for free accommodation and meals, I want to be part of something and be useful, have at the end of the day that feeling that you made something good and important. Also I want to learn new skills and share the things that I know.

I have worked for many years in a biology lab and this improved my organization and planning skills. I learn very quickly and I am used both to work independently or as part of a team. I am very precise, accurate and reliable.
Talking about practical skills I can cook (not a big chef as supposed since I came from Italy but still I have my masterpieces), make house cleanings and some basics maintenance and DIY works. I have good experience with pets (mainly cats) and taking care of house plants. I love children and I always have a lot of fun with them.
