Hey guys, I'm Leonie and am currently staying near Padova in Italy and will soon travel to Abruzzo.
I believe that travelling is a very fun and also the best way to get to know new people and cultures. I've already spent a year abroad in the United States back in school where I deeply dove into the culture, learned a lot personally through different perspectives and gained plenty of enriching experiences.
Over a year ago I started learning Italian at the university, after learning Spanish in school, and now I am looking forward to immerse myself in the Italian culture and meet new people while practising my Italian. Italy is such a beautiful country with the Alps, the sea, its history, and as the whole world knows its delicious food.
About me: I would describe myself as open-minded, active and positive. I enjoy sports, whether it's going on a run at a lake, playing beachvolleyball in the summer or going swimming. But I also love painting ceramics or on canvas, and on rainy days you will also find me playing board and card games with some friends.
At my student job I loved working with kids on a regular occasion. This is also what I am preferably looking for.

I started young with a babysitting job for a two year-old girl. Then I tutored students of age 11-18 years and in my current student job I carry out student workshops for schools in mathematical topics in everyday life and also the climate change.
Apart from that, I've helped out in a restaurant with serving and cashing. Furthermore, I worked for an event organizer with similar tasks.
