My name is Katie and my partner, Keeden, and I have left our jobs at a non-for-profit and are starting a gap year of travel (the dream!). We are from Alice Springs in Australia which is dry, arid desert and very beautiful! We love being outdoors, camping, hiking, finding swimming spots, reading books and playing boardgames. We are quiet, warm and easygoing people. We enjoy meeting new people, building community, sharing stories, learning and laughing.

We have both lived and worked in remote Australia and are used to long days of work inside and outside. We have kept old properties going with DIY fixes and are generally handy. We are good cooks (both vegetarian) and enjoy gardening, creativity and sharing in community. We're good with children and family and at keeping a home going.
