Description
Hello! my name is Eleonora and I'm from Brazil.
I have a BA in Social Communication. I'm from Campinas- São Paulo; graduated from high school in Delaware-US; studied animation and storytelling during one year in London; was an intern journalist in Istanbul during 4 months; later traveled the south of Turkey as a workawayer for 3 months in two hostels, a five-star hotel, a vineyard and a farm; and in 2017 after graduation spent 5 months in Salvador/ Bahia studying screenwriting for television, I wanted to write a story about 5 friends, who are engaged in sensing, naming and comprehending the world through the practice of some form of art, and decide to do something collectively with their experiences and eccetricities. My characters were all women, but then I realized that I knew few stories about women's friendships... And about being an artist... And feeding eccentricities..... I went back to university to understand why. Why narratives are so repetitive sometimes if as humans we have the incredible capacity to imagine and have been developing great habilities to materialize our thoughts and possibilities.
But my experience was that all the widening of perspectives I had during graduation was not present in further academic stages. There were strict rules of who I should read, worship and imitate if - someday - I wished to have a voice and my own ideas.
After the pandemics I decided to materialize my questionings with other approaches and to search while traveling. I have traveled 33 countries so far. I'm currently practicing Arabic and French in Duolingo and my favourite type of people (and the one I'm commited to be) are the ones that are comfortable with their creativity, so much that they are not scared of other people creativities! These (we) are the ones who encourage even the "silliest" and "weirdest" breaths of abstraction, since it can come from the delicious realm of desire, we know that maybe the focus is not yet well structured, but it can become, with the right companies, time, care, patience and maturation.
I'm very interested in cosmogonies, musical instruments and the impact of vibrations and movements in the body, the variety of choices that animals make when food&shelter is guaranteed and so are faced with free time, and the properties of plants and minerals.Interests
