  • Description

    Hello everyone,
My name is Daniele, and I'm 32 years old. Currently, I'm a visual artist based in Brussels. I specialize in creating artwork that might seem a bit strange or conceptual at first glance, but beneath the surface lies a profound reflection on life and its hidden meanings.
While I love my life as an artist here in Brussels, I've been feeling a desire to explore more of the world and its inhabitants. That's why I've decided to take a step back from art production for a while. But let's face it, once an artist, always an artist!
During this break, I've chosen to embark on a new adventure: I've enrolled in a course to obtain nautical skills, specifically a sailing license. My dream is to one day sail the seas aboard a sailboat, riding the waves and discovering new horizons.
So, while I may be taking a temporary hiatus from my artistic pursuits, I'm excited about the journey ahead and the opportunities for growth and exploration that lie ahead.

  • More details about your skills

I'm a versatile artist primarily known for my sculpture work. Give me a hammer, some nails, and a piece of wood, and I could probably build the Colosseum!
I excel in hands-on tasks, and DIY projects are my forte. Thanks to my work and perhaps a touch of dyslexia, I derive genuine pleasure from finding practical solutions in any situation.
But beyond sculpture and DIY, I'm a perpetual learner. The world of sculpture is vast, and I'm always eager to learn new techniques and apply them to my craft. So, my skill set is ever-expanding.
Furthermore, I speak English, French, Italian, and Spanish. I have a passion for reading, crafting small stories, and most importantly, gazing at the sky.
In conclusion, while my expertise lies in sculpture and manual work, my curiosity and eagerness to learn extend to all aspects of life. I'm excited about the prospect of broadening my skills even further.

  • What else ...

Regarding myself, as I've already mentioned, I'm Italian and work as an artist. Currently, I live in Brussels, but I haven't always been here. Before moving to the Belgian capital, I lived in Finland, in Helsinki, and before that, I traveled a bit for pleasure—some months here and there in Chile, Argentina, India, Canada...
I watch a lot of movies, to the extent that I sometimes go to the cinema alone. It's a moment I really cherish, being at peace with others' stories, which sometimes resonate with my own.
An important thing to know about me is that I enjoy eating well. Perhaps it's because of my origins; I'll never forget the memory of my grandmother making homemade pasta. In any case, I especially enjoy cooking for the people I love. I believe it's a gesture that speaks volumes.
These are the main things about me, though I might be forgetting something. No matter—it's not a big deal. If we ever have the pleasure of meeting or chatting, it could be an opportunity to get to know me better.
