Hi 👋🏻 My name is Cecilie. I quit my office job primo 2022, and have been travelling/volunteering in Northern part of Norway (mostly) since. And I’m continuing the adventure this year as well :)

After having done the whole career and degree thing for a bit, I'm now on my journey to discover what I should do next for a living. Meeting new, cool people and learning new skills and widening my perspective through Workaway has definitely made an impact. Through volunteering I'm looking for genuine and meaningful connections, physical and outdoor activities/work, and making a difference

As a person I’m calm and down to earth and not delicate. I’m very curious about learning new skills and self-improving, and I have great interest in other cultures and languages. I strive to be sincere, kind and respectful in my interactions with others, and I enjoy talking to people and getting to know them, while I also enjoy my quiet time to recharge myself

What else ...

I'm very interested in hunting (recently took the Jegerprøven/hunting license), and I really enjoy winter bathing, working out, meditation, yoga, live music and racer cycling. I also like hiking, fishing, sleeping in a tent and starting a fire. Right now I’m dreaming of building or renovating my own simple cabin by the mountains in Norway. I appreciate the nature and how it shows its colours in all of the seasons (I do like the snow a lot though). Being near the ocean or by mountains is my preferred place to be
