We are a farm for art and tech situated in South of Estonia. It is concentrated on researching of, experimenting with and reflecting on the relationships between people, technology and nature through the prism of art.
In spring and summer of 2024 we are preparing for an technological open air exhibition that will be open to public for the whole summer. The visitors can find artworks on a stroll across vast meadows, past pony paddocks, through the lush forest and mysterious swamp.
We are looking for volunteers who would help us during the installation period and then once the exhibition is open, help us keep the exhibition open for visitors.
🌲From April to May: we are looking for help with cooking for the team, handywork and exhibition installing help, also some woodland maintenance, various tasks for various skill levels and preferences.
🌳From June to September: we're looking for exhibition assistants who would help us keep the exhibition open to public, welcome guests, make sure the trails are passable and the artworks are functioning.
🐎 When sending your message, please indicate the time you are able to come and in what ways you see yourself as a good addition to the team! :) 🐎

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Our farm for art an tech provides beautiful scenery, interesting people from around the world, excellent technological artworks, facilities for use for individual creative endeavours (laser cutter, 3D-printer). Volunteers can learn more about ways of combining science, technology and nature, practice their social and practical skills.
Help
We are looking for help with exhibition installing (various skills), woodwork, cooking. The installation techniques vary and most of the skills can be taught, it is most important for us that you are motivated and curious! The exhibition period from 25th May to 15th September is a more social and chill role! We're looking for help with opening & closing, conversing with visitors, checking on the artworks! Lots of fresh air, hilly meadows, visitors and horses.

The workawayers will be staying at the residency house, there are four rooms in total, an equipped kitchen, a shower, toilet and living room. Most of the time everyone can have their own room but sometimes when we have more guests or artists come, we ask people to share rooms (there are 2 beds in all rooms). But this will be communicated in advance.
What else ...
The local scenery is vast and open, an abundance of forests and rivers. The closest town is Otepää, next one is Tartu which is 35 minute car ride away (the European Capital of Culture 2024), then there is also Võru and Põlva. There is fair amount of public transport between the farm and cities, also the team goes to Tartu and Otepää often, you can hop on and discover the spring and summer in South-Estonia.
