    Description

We are a retired English couple who live in a quiet rural village in a house on top of a hill with amazing views . Brenda is originally from the Philippines ,and is an avid gardener and David is English and likes DIY ,fishing ,and sailing. We lived in England for 25 years before moving to France . Previously, we lived in the Middle East, Asia and the US and worked in te travel industry for almost 2 decades so we had the opportunity to meet a variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds.

We moved into our new house a year and a half ago so there are maintenance , gardening and DIY tasks needed .Currently we are in the midst of building a covered terrace and a carport. And Brenda would like to develop the garden

We enjoy meeting and interacting with people from different walks of life, and sharing our experiences from our travels and the countries we have lived in. We do not have any pets and we are non smokers.
Brenda enjoys cooking and trying out new dishes from different countries .David loves to eat 😊 .
We like the outdoors, going for walks and travelling .

We live in this part of the Dordogne which is truly spectacular. Even after 16 years of living here, it still takes our breath away!
There are beautiful landscapes and stunning scenery that you'll encounter as you drive or cycle around , an incredible amount of sites to visit : magnificent chateaux and gardens , prehistoric caves and stalactite caves, historic /bastide (fortified towns) perched on top of a hill , and quaint charming villages many of which we still have to discover and explore.

Near and around us, there are walking and cycling routes/paths , rivers and lakes for swimming, fishing and sailing, local farmers markets . There is little night life as we live in the countryside .
