Hi I am Maxi from Leipzig, Germany.

I left my life in Germany 5 years ago and exchanged it for a life on the road. Since then I have been traveling all around the world from community to community, farm to farm and adventure to adventure 😁

I am an open-minded, creative, active and adventurous person that always wants to expand her horizon and learn something new!
A simple life, close to nature and its blessings is my preferred way of living.
Little things like a stunning view, a home-cooked meal, good company or just an honest smile make me the happiest.

You can get me excited about everything related to nature, movement or alternative ways of living and learning and for sure all kinds of adventures from hikes to jumping out of an airplane 😬

Besides nature and farming - related interest, my passion lies in moving in all kinds of ways! Circus and Flow Arts, Slackline and Highline, Yoga and Acro Yoga, dancing and Contact Improvisation, just to mention a few...

I have experience with working and living on farms and in communities. Tending to plants and animals of all shapes and sizes is one of my favorite tasks. I worked with animals since I was a child, can ride and have in general a big space for them in my heart.

I studied Permaculture for the last 3 years and have experience implementing it on small scale on land. I love working with the land and getting my hands dirty while preparing garden beds, compost or whatever else is needed! I can offer knowledge about everything from seed to the table including canning, drying, cooking, fermentation and herbal medicine. I believe you can always learn more about these topics so I am looking forward to exchange plant wisdoms :)

I helped building with natural materials, like mud, Adobe bricks, bamboo and wood before and would love to learn more.

I worked for two years as a manager of a Eco-Tourism Camp in the Sinai desert. This included cooking, accounting, finances, maintenance, decorating and organizing workshops and adventures.

I have been teaching and facilitating learning experiences for all age groups. Mostly about nature & sustainable living, crafting and movement. Always outdoors in a holistic and inclusive way with and without language barrier, in summer camps and independent alternative learning spaces.

I practice many different movement arts, including juggling, dance, acrobatics and more.

I am always happy to share my learnings and passions or learn more about them! I don't shy away from a challenge and am happy to learn entirely new skills :)
