Description
We live in Coupar Angus in the beautiful Vale of Strathmore in Scotland. We are looking for someone to look after our dog during March when our usual dos ‘sitter’ is away. Strathmore is situated between the Cairngorm Mountains and the Sidlaw Hills. 20km from Coupar Angus is the vibrant city of Dundee which has a branch of the V&A Museum, two historic ships, museums and galleries and two Universities.
Whilst staying with us would have your own room, food and drink would be supplied. A bike is available for use to get around the town and the myriad of quiet roads in the area. Our dog is a lovely brown border collie who is very affectionate and needs long walks a couple of times a day. We also have an organic garden if you are interested.
We have welcomed many Workawayers to our home in the past and they have all enjoyed their stay, and we have enjoyed them staying with us.Types of help and learning opportunities
Animal CareCultural exchange and learning opportunities
Being in Scotland is a joy. The country is beautiful and the people are friendly. There are many cultural activities in the nearby Dundee and also in Perth. Day trips to both Edinburgh and Glasgow are possible. There is also the opportunity to get to know that famous product of Scotland, Scotch whisky!!
Help
Our lovely energetic and enthusiastic Border collie needs to be walked twice a day. There are lots of lovely walks in the area where we live.

What else ...
Coupar Angus is situated in the beautiful Vale of Strathmore and green and verdant valley in the East of Scotland. To the south is the vibrant and creative city of Dundee, to the north are the magnificent Cairngorm Mountains. The area is ideal for walking and cycling. There are lots of local clubs in Coupar Angus which you could become involved with, perhaps the most fun are the local Scottish Country Dance groups.
