We are full for 2024 , however we have space for a couple from 15th July for a minimum placement of 6 months., .

We have a minimum placement period of 24 weeks. In addition you must be legally entitled to work in Ireland ( EU passport holder or the holder of a valid work permit / visa ) , we are not in a position to apply for work permits .
We are a Country House Estate with a gardens – both recreational and production, and there is golf course next door. . We need an experienced persons to help ( House Keeping, bar and restaurant service , kitchen and night porters, ) from June to December 2021. Previous experience in hospitality a distinct advantage. . We provide accommodation and meals while on duty , , free internet access . Although we are in a rural area we are located we are less than 1 hour from Dublin and the airport. We are 3 miles from the village of Dunlavin ( pubs, shops, post office etc ) and 3 miles from the village of Grangecon. Again our location is very rural and quiet , you need to travel at least 10km to access public transport. Although there are people traveling in and out of the local villages and towns every day.
There is a great sense of community on site with up to 60 employees in high season, most of our employs live in the local villages with on site and or in our staff house 2km up the road. Positions also suitable for a couple. We have a minimum placement period of 16 weeks, Please do not apply if you can stay for the minimum period.
Here We operate a 7 day 24 hour roster so your hours are not necessarily 8.00am to 12 noon and your shift is subject to change on a weekly bases. In addition days off are not necessarily Saturday and Sunday, nor are they necessarily consecutive, however we do endeavour to make sure that your hours are regular and that you get at least 2 or more consecutive days off. Couples may not necessary have the same shifts or work in the same departments , although we will endeavour to arrange same where and when possible.
Work Away placements are paid from €11.30 per hour.. You must be legally entitled to work in Ireland and or the EU and or be in a valid work permit to work in Ireland to be considered for a placement. We have a minimum contact period of 24 weeks. Travelers will learn what it is like to live in a rural community in the Irish Country Side. They will experience life in a busy Irish Country House providing hospitality to guests originating from Ireland and abroad. Again this is a rural location, so if city life is what you are used to / looking for ,here is not for you. We have a minimum contact period of 8 weeks. Please do not apply if you cannot stay with us for this minimum period.

The summer time is very busy, however in the winter and shoulder seasons you may only work 2 or 3 days a week. Christmas is busy, however the house is closed from the 23rd to the 26th December inclusive. Its busy again then until the 5th January 2025 whereupon we close for 4 weeks. We have a staff car available for over 25’s ( you must have a full drivers licence ) so you can explore Wicklow and the National Parks, Dublin ( less than 50 minutes away ) or our local towns of Naas Newbridge and Kildare , the hone of the Irish National Stud
