Description
5 acre Homestead/mini retreat center in Southern Oregon.
The focus for is to create a connection to spirit through the day to day tasks of maintaining a homestead.
I am a documentary photographer, herbalist and world traveller. I've trained mustangs, been a squad boss on a wildland firefighting crew, and helped birth babies. I value putting my all into what Im doing and I encourage the folks around me to do the same whether its washing windows, shoveling endless wheelbarrows of dirt, planting trees or praying. I value busting ass and working hard and focused when we are doing a task and take care of themselves in time off, whether its play, adventure or rest.
I feel inspired to grow enough food and medicine with the goal of sustaining through the winter and supporting myself, my land stewards and having abundance to share with friends and family.
* workaway disclaimer- None of the produce from here is for sale
I feel passionate about letting the beauty and wisdom of nature mimic as much of my life as possible.
I am the main resident and share the farmhouse with Kava, the cat, and Yara the pup. There is also a temple/sanctuary space, an outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower and composting toilet.
The land is a beautiful mix of old growth Oak and Madrone trees and open meadows. There is a seasonal creek and pond that bring in lots of wildlife and birds. The 1/2 acre vegetable, flower and medicinal herb garden is in the center of the land with a magical greenhouse. I am passionate about creating beautiful and playful spaces.
There is a yurt/temple available for meditation, yoga, or other healing arts you would like to practice.
