  I am an Australian/French artist painter and musician living on an isolated old land in the picturesque Wollombi valley, 2 hours north of Sydney.
  The traditional pole house sits on an elevated plateau surrounded by 35 hectares of native forest. It is a wildlife sanctuary.
  Adjacent to the main house is an artist studio, where I make art.
  The place is 100% autonomous, off the grid, solar, rainwater tank, internet via satellite.
  Wollombi historic village is 6 kms by car (20 minutes).

  Observing regeneration after bushfire and how to care for the forest.

  Warm doonas but no heaters in winter.
  Bathroom shared with host.
  Meals shared with host, some help expected in cooking from time to time.

  Place is isolated, 6 kms (20 minutes by car) from Wollombi village.
  Car is recommended to explore the area and being independant.
  Beautiful picturesque valley with National parks all around, with many walks and ancient aboriginal sites.
  I am an artist and musician, and volunteer in an art group managing two art galleries in Wollombi historic village.
