Hello, My name is Wendy, I guess I may be a little older than the majority of workawayers, but I find myself with an empty nest and a spirit of adventure. I was super jealous of my daughter doing the travel thing so here I am.
I have 25 years as a professional chef, as well as a degree in horticulture......I know your ears are pricking up. I have run pubs and had a small plant nursery. I have supported autistic people achieve their goals, experience I found very rewarding as well as being a mum.....an ongoing job😀 So I think I have plenty to offer hosts and quite happy to be flexible
I am looking for authentic, enriching cultural experiences, getting to know the local area and people.
I think I can describe myself as a warm and friendly person that gets on with everyone. I do yoga everyday, love fishing and walking and slightly obsessed with knitting.
