Description
Hi,
I'm Richard (Roo)
I am a 25 year old Artist from England.
Life is an adventure, and I am looking to experience and enjoy everything it has to offer. One thing I have learnt so far about life is; if an opportunity arises, say yes. Better a bad story, than a story never told.
I am an avid learner, hard worker, and always willing to help in any way I can. There is always so much to do and so much to learn, but never enough hours in the day to do so. Give me a goal, and I'll give you my best.
I enjoy being outdoors, whether rain or shine. Spending time in the fresh air is one of the best things one can do.
I know a reasonable amount about foraging and wild foods. I learn more with every passing season.
I'm confident using a variety of tools, and if I don't know how to use it, I'll soon learn. I've spent the last 3 years as an odd jobs/maintenance man for a florists shop, so I'm confident with general maintenance, woodwork, etc.
I adore animals of all kinds, and have looked after a range of animals from as small as hamsters to as large as horses. I was brought up in a small village with a house full of animals and worked on farms in my spare time, so animal care is one of my strengths. I often end up giving animals more love and attention than I do my friends.
Being an Artist by trade, in some of my spare time I would be working on my main personal project, which explores what it is to be human. Especially relating to early civilisations and how they relate to us now. This is mostly in the form of painting, drawing and note making.
I love conversing and debating. Discussing everything from the way the rain falls to why the universe exists; If you can think of a topic, I can discuss it. Not just "why?", but also "how?".
I have studied Taekwondo since I was 5, and from this I have some knowledge regarding body mechanics, flexibility, health and fitness.
Currently in my spare time I am learning Guitar, and trying to achieve some basic knowledge of any languages I come across. I think knowing more than your own language is unbelievably important. it helps to see the world from different points of view. Although I currently only speak English, and very little German, I am looking to expand that knowledge into all sorts of new territory, and would love to learn from you.
My Plan for life right now, is to slowly travel from place to place making my way across the world, and learning as much as I can, whilst I continue to make artwork. So I am mainly looking for host where I can stay for a mid to long duration (although due to Brexit, mid to long has to be shortened to a max of 3 months, unless I can manage some kind of VISA..). But at the end of the day, I never know what opportunity may come next, so I am open to anything, anywhere, anytime.
Life is one big adventure and the opportunities are endless.Interests
