Hi there! Name is Marshall. I've passed the Level 1 Sommelier exam and done a previous workaway on a vineyard in Piedmont, Italy.

Would love to get more experience in wine however it may look like. Flexible, and excited to try new things and meet new people!

Grew up working on a farm (without livestock), so decent amount of experience maintaining large area of land, vegetables, gardening, and general maintenance of a property. Also an Eagle Scout for those familiar, which includes a lot of training and practice in camping, cooking, survival, emergency preparedness, and other outdoor skills.

For those interested in U.S. politics, been working in the political realm in DC for 3 years and now in real estate focused on developing building and structures that promote community.

The community Simone, Frieda, and Ambra are cultivating in the Valchiusella valley is something special, and I'm so glad I finished my trip in Italy at their farm. Unfortunately Marshall stayed with us less than a week, but right at the beginning we knew, he will fit perfectly to our community, project and daily routine. I could only spend one week at Tenuta San Lorenzo but wish it could have been longer. Lorenzo and his family provided everything I could hope for in a workaway -- interesting work, awesome food, and great people.
