hi there, i'm obi. i took a year off from my life in germany, to travel in south-america, and exploring these diverse worlds.

interests are literature. i'm into different perspectives and realities.
photography. the feelings pictures can transmit.
sciences. quantum mechanics, neuro-science. psychology, tech, environmenal-science. what they tell us about the deeper realities, that we're all embedded in, fascinates me.
sports like cycling, skiing, hiking, speedminton, tennis. doing sports, playing, being active, make all my internal issues recede, it helps me to be just in this moment.
travelling & volunteering (even though i haven't been volunteering for quite some years now, it's about time.)

gardening: building and preparing beds, soil preparation, like mixing manure in, mulching, seeding, transplanting, thinning, weeding, picking, tree planting, creating terraces..
i find tending plants quite meditating. i enjoy it a lot.

animal care: herding and milking goats, feeding farm animals, cleaning out stables

building: very basic knowledge. what i enjoy is the type of building they do in south-europe and south-america, like building with cob, and with earth-bags.
also i have experience in building with nature stones and cement.

the last 6 years or so i lived in the city, and i forgot much about the more simple, hard, and rewarding life of a campesino. but i'm ready to dive in..

i'm mainly interested in gardening, farming, agriculture, and permaculture

building, carpentry, plumbing, electricity, creative painting, digital work, are not my strong suits. i envy and highly appreciate these skills in people, but i'm afraid my talents are limited.
