Hello, my name is John Raffaele Raulli. I'm a California native. I have lived and worked in Boston, Chicago, New York City, Germany and Korea and have traveled to 20+ countries throughout Asia, Europe and South America.

I am interested in the study of Italian, trying new things and learning alI I can. Especially, in the areas of food and wine production, animal husbandry and architectural restoration. I am a fan of art, film, music, photography and comedy.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Economics and a Teaching Credential in Secondary Social Sciences. I studied 2 years of Spanish in High School and one year of Italian at University.

I have many years of work experience in the fields of Education as well as Hospitality, Travel and the Restaurant Industry. My last employment was working as a gardener on a Golf Course in San Francisco where I have been performing a variety of landscape maintenance including deferred tree maintenance and dead tree removal.

I am detail oriented and capable worker who believes in giving my best.

I have had 5 previous workaway experiences.
Argentina: 3 weeks in a vineyard 2018 - 2 weeks on a fruit tree farm 2024.
In Italy: 1 week clearing land - 10 days on an organic farm - 2 weeks with a wine maker, all in Tuscany in 2019

I will be flying to Rome on July 27th. I am available to work July 28th through August 14.

On August 15 I am scheduled to arrive in Pisa to work the harvest around the area of Lucca.
