Hello :)

My name is Hannah, and I am a young woman from Canada taking this year to travel and explore in New Zealand and wherever else I end up!

I graduated from university this past summer with a bachelor of social work, and before I left travelling was working at a homeless shelter in my hometown, as well as teaching some art classes to children on the side.

This fall I went on a 3 month bike trip from British Columbia, Canada to Tijuana, Mexico, and I am now leaving to New Zealand with a working holiday visa for the year. I absolutely love being outside, and am looking for a workaway experience where I can be surrounded by nature, explore new places, and meet new people. I am also hoping to find places where I can work with or around animals. I have done previous Workaways on farms and animal sanctuaries with donkeys, horses, pigs, chickens, dogs, etc., and truly love the connections I was able to have with the animals during my stays.

I would describe myself as friendly, creative and kind. I love anything art related, I have lots of experience working with children, and I love to laugh and just have fun. I'm looking forward to making new friends, learning new things, and exploring a new part of the world!
