For the winter of 2022/23, I am planning another tip to the United Kingdom.. I have found a familiar place to visit in Uig, Isle of Skye, Scotland; and now looking for another place in Scotland to visit. Looking for dates of Mid-December to end of January somewhere in Scotland.

I enjoy outdoor work such as cutting and splitting firewood, grounds work, etc. I have done this type of work all my life, but now that I am retired and live in a mobile home park, I do not have this type of work to do for myself and like to help others that are in need of this type of work. I also enjoy working inside such as painting, carpentry, and most other types of work.

Although my age is just a number, I know that most people will think I may be too old to do this type of work. Let me toss that idea in the trash, as I am fit and able to do most work around a home or larger property.

I love to paint houses, do carpentry work, minor electrical work, and plumbing, and all types of outdoor work around the home.

I have been a home brewer for over 9 years, and hope that some of my travels will be working in brew pubs, micro breweries, etc. I hope to learn new recipes for good beers that I have not tried as of yet.

Doug stayed with us for 6 weeks, arriving 2 days after we had the worst storm for many years. He was willing to got involved in anything that needed doing and was the only reason we managed to get the hotel reopen after the damage the storm caused. To say that Anne and Billy are fantastic hosts would not be enough. I had the honor of being with this wonderful family and help them for 7 weeks. Two nights before I arrived they had a storm with 120 mph (192 kph) winds that blew down 6 trees.
