Hi, my name is Sophie. I'm originally from Germany, and living in Canada now.

I have done a lot of volunteer work on my travels and I think it’s a great opportunity to meet people and to learn about different lifestyles and cultures.

I enjoy the outdoors and sparsely populated areas far away from any hectic city life. I have great interest in organic farming and self-sufficient lifestyles.

I consider myself as an open-minded, easy-going and humorous person and I'm always keen to try new things and to challenge myself.

I got experience in gardening (sowing, transplanting, harvesting and preserving) as well as animal care (poultry, cows, pigs, sheep) and butchering. I had the chance to run different equipement like tractors or swathers.

Due to my profession as Software Developer I may be able to help out with some computers work.

I've been working in hostels and motels before, where I was mostly responsible for cleaning the facilities but I also managed some check-ins.

Other than that I like foraging, baking sourdough bread and brewing Kombucha.
