Hey there!
I am Sophia a 24 year old undergraduate student, planning on being in Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Cameroon, Senegal, Uganda and Kenya from Augsut 2023. I am looking for porfessional internships in the field of sustainability projects and research related work. However in the meantime I am open to help out at a farm or social project! Feel free to get in touch :)
After my Highschool-Graduation I decided to travel and volunteer around the world for two years, alone. I did many workaways all over this planet which was just amazing, each one gave me a unique opportunity to learn new things!
I consider it very important to see the life in many different and diverse perspectives to open our horizons and I think that workaway is a great opportunity to get in contact with different people from all over the world, to know their way of living and thinking , exchange cultures and shareand learn some new skills.
I am a very adventurous and active and easy going person, dont need much to be happy, the less the better:).
I love cooking and so always looking for some new recepies. Also I try to learn a bit of the local language.

I love being around animals, have a dog since 10 years and have experience with horses.
Practical skills: I worked on many different farms: Every farm have their own, different rules. I can adapt quite quickly and learn fast. I have done some maintanace on a farm in NewZealand, Canada, and the USA, worked in a Hostel in Indonesia, guided horsebackridings for guests in Namibia and South Africa
USA and Canada and worked with an NGO in Uganda.
I love cooking and would like to learn and share recepies and different ways of living the culture.
I just enjoy being outside in the nature and have some time to settle myself a bit.
And just talk to people, be open and learn something new.
