Description

Ciao! We're Gian (33 y.o.) and Sara (32 y.o), an Italian couple ready to embark on a new adventure, and embrace new experiences through Workaway.

We would love to find hosts who can challenge our skills in completely new activities, and especially those who can guide us in developing new abilities and expanding our knowledge base.
Both are eager to work, play, and create meaningful memories that will contribute to our personal growth. Although we may not possess specific handy or artistic skills, we are ready to put in the effort and learn along the way.
While it would be preferable to have similar work schedules, we are open to engaging in different roles and responsibilities.

We're easy-going, well-mannered, flexible and open-minded persons, who take responsibilities seriously and approach tasks diligently. Although both of us are reserved and rather shy, we genuinely enjoy fostering a pleasant and friendly work environment, where everyone feels comfortable.

*In 2016, Sara had a remarkable Workaway experience in Tokyo. For a duration of five weeks, she worked at an English Café, immersing herself in Japanese customs, culture, and creating unforgettable memories. With a degree in Foreign Languages and Tourism, Sara's primary passions include reading, traveling, interior design, foreign languages and writing.

*Gianluigi holds a degree in Development and International Cooperation Sciences and has gained valuable work experience in a retail setting over the years. His English proficiency is at an intermediate level and his interests include a fondness for animals, bees, traveling, cars, music and basketball.

Over the summer 2023, we had a Workaway experience in Lorgues, France, where our duties where mainly concerning gardening, pool maintenance and some general maintenace.
Moreover, in 2019, we had the opportunity to spend several weeks in Sarasota, Florida, where throughout our stay, we carried out tasks such as gardening, painting, furniture moving, and home staging. We cherished this experience and are thrilled to continue expanding our skills and knowledge through future Workaway endeavours.

In general, we'd love to learn as many things as possible and of course to independently explore and discover new places!

(P.S. Regarding smoking, Gian smokes 4/5 ciagarettes maximum per day; Sara doesn't smoke at all)

Gian: I have a strong desire to learn new skills, which is one of the main reasons why I love to travel through Workaway.

Sara: I have a strong curiosity for other cultures and I embrace the opportunity to broaden my knowledge through Workaway and explore different ways of life.
