Hola!!
Soy un jóven de 25 años de la ciudad de la eterna primavera: Medellín, Colombia.
Me gradué como ingeniero químico hace ya dos años, y trabajo en una compañía de café en investigación y desarrollo, donde he tenido oportunidad de aprender mucho del mundo del café, especialmente sus procesos de fermentación, tostado, y catación. Siento gran curiosisdad por probar nuevos cafés y descubrir nuevos sabores. Lo que más me apasiona es la biotecnología y todo lo que ofrece, entre ellos el placer de hacer una buena cerveza!

Me gustan los deportes, de hecho practico baloncesto (aunque ha pasado tiempo desde la última vez que entrené). Me gustaría mucho ensayar deportes nuevos como esquiar/hacer snowboarding (la meta de este año!), escalar, surfear, etc. En mis tiempos libres me gusta mucho viajar y descubrir nuevos horizontes. He tenido los mejores viajes con workaway, y no imagino una forma de viajar que me guste más por el aprendizaje cultural y las conexiones que se generan. Ya no puedo esperar a la siguiente vez :D

Me va muy bien cuidando niños(as), aunque de bebés apenas estoy aprendiendo con mi casi sobrina . También puedo enseñar español e inglés a un buen nivel (no profesional), cocinar y hacer todo tipo de trabajos, desde que alguien que pueda enseñar, estoy dispuesto a aprender!

Cada día trato de aprender de las lecciones que da la vida. Me gusta pensar que soy un joven curioso, trato de interesarme mucho por el mundo que me rodea y me generan especial interés la ciencia, las formas de pensar de diferentes personas, las diferentes culturas, religiones, filosofías, etc. Como persona, me considero a mi mismo muy calmado y fácil de tratar, responsable y honesto.

A modo de filosofía personal veo la vida como un viaje, y la felicidad como una manera de viajar, por lo que trato de sacarle el máximo provecho a cada experiencia que tengo.

Hello there!
I'm 25 years old, born and raised in the city of the eternal spring: Medellín, Colombia.

I finished my bachelor's as a chemical engineer two years ago. Now I'm working at a coffee company in the R&D section, where I have had the opportunity to learn a lot about the world of coffee, especially about the processes of fermentation, roasting, and cupping. I'm very curious to try new coffees and discover new flavors. I'm most passionate about biotechnology and everything it offers, like the pleasure of making a good beer!

I like sports I play basketball (I haven't trained in a while though). I'd love to try new sports such as skiing/snowboarding (this year's goal), climbing, surfing, etc. In my free time, I love to travel and discover new horizons. I've had the best travels with workaway, and I can't imagine a way of traveling that I enjoy more. I love it so much because of the cultural learning and the connections that come with it. I can't wait for the next one :D

I do pretty well in babysitting (children), and I enjoy it a lot too, though I'm just learning how things work with babies, as my quasi-niece is teaching me so. I can also teach Spanish and English to a good level (not professional). I can cook and help with all kinds of stuff if there's somebody who can teach me how (I'm willing to learn about everything!, I love to learn)

Each day I try to learn from the lessons life gives. I like to think that I'm a curious man. I try to interest a lot in the world that surrounds me and I have a special interest in the ways of thinking of different people, different cultures, religions, philosophies, etc. I consider myself very calm, easygoing, honest, and responsible.

As a personal philosophy, I view life as a trip and happiness as a way of travel. Therefore, I try to enjoy the most out of every experience that I have.

He sido entrenador de baloncesto de niños, allí estuve en contacto con unos 60 niños al día y de verdad disfruté mucho la experiencia. Creo que esto muestra que tengo la habilidad de enseñar. También tengo experiencia en el cuidado de niños (normalmente me la llevo bien con ellos rápido), práctica de lenguajes y ayudando con computadores.

Considero que aprendo las cosas rápido así que debería poder ayudar en todo tipo de cosas si hay alguien que pueda enseñarme primero cómo hacerlas. Principalmente, tengo las ganas de aprender, lo cual creo es muy importante en cualquier cosa que uno hace.

No soy chef, pero tengo alguna experiencia cocinando, me gustaría mucho aprender recetas de otros lugares. Sé hacer cervezas y vinos ;)

I have been an children basketball trainer, there I had contact with like 60 kids a day and I really enjoyed the experience. So, I believe this shows that I have the ability to teach. I also have practice is babysitting-childcare (I usually get along very easily with the kids), language practice, helping with computers.

I consider that I learn the things quickly so I should be able to help in all kind of things if someone can teach me first how to do them. Most of all, I have the will and eagerness to learn, which I think is very important in anything you do.

I'm no chef, but I have some experience cooking. I'd love to learn recipes from other places. I know how to make beers and wines ;)
