Hello everybody,
I am Rebecca, German, 35, and I found out about workaway while I was staying at a hostel on vacation.
In Germany, I have been working as a legal secretary for more than 8 years. I organized small meetings and events, managed the calendar of my boss and took care of his clients.
From 2018 I have been running a small B&B in a little village close to the Wicklow Mountains National Park in Ireland for 6 years. My work included welcoming guests, giving advice on where to go, cleaning the house and cooking dinners. I managed the bookings and answered emails as well.
I also have managed our little team of monthly changing workawayers and volunteers from all over the world. I have managed their working times, and meals, organized little trips and helped them to get around.
I don't have many references on my private profile, but I am happy to advise where to find them as a host on Workaway and Worldpackers as well as on booking.com, hostelworld.com, airbnb.com and tripadvisor.com
Before I settle down again I want to travel, improve my skills in any kind of way and would love to learn about the local's life.
I reckon myself as a hard worker - whether it is cleaning the house, doing the grocery shopping, working in the garden or the house, it is no problem at all. I'm a handy girl, too.
I am used to cooking for 1 and up to 25 people at a time. Whatever you need - I'm your woman to get things done!

I am not vegan, but I prefer a vegan diet.
