I am currently not active looking. But always interested to hear from some cool projects. If it is in the south of Brandenburg the more.

Hi, my name is Rainer and I am 45 years now young. I am a member of workaway now for 3 years and I almost spend 3 years in helping people to improve their homes and/or businesses in Germany and south Europe.
It was often exciting and adventurous to experience different cultures and countries.
I have a good feeling when I look back this long time, of all that I did and how many people I met.
But right now I am a little bit done with workaway, the constant traveling and the living in more or less basic situations always with a transitional mindset, that I am not real home where I am and always have to face the challenge to adapt to different situations.
I'm now, 05.08.2019 back in Germany, still doing workaway, but looking for a chance to settle down again here.
So, if you are living in a nice area, close to one of our big cities in Germany, you could enable me to give me a new start here, while I am helping you with your projects.
After 3 years of traveling around, I am certainly easier with new environments, people and situations.
I am an easy-going, responsible, attentive, communicative, nice guy and I'm looking forward to making new friends with open hearts and an open mindset to have good conversations.
I am quite interested in what is called Non-duality philosophy and maybe we can exchange there a little bit.

I have experience in renovations and construction, did some painting, woodwork, plastering, paving, bricklaying, electric installations.
I worked on farms with animals, collected plants, chopped wood, strimmed properties, arranged lawns, planted trees and cut others back.

For one month I helped in a vegan community that has a restaurant, with party catering. While I am not a chef, I can cook too for single households or small groups.
I am affin with computers and a Linux fan and can help you there.

Since 5 years now I am a certified yoga teacher, with not so much teaching experience, but I would like to change that.
I had time in my life where I painted quite a lot, and if you want a simpler mural in your home, I can do that too.

I have some allergies, a problem is when I have to work with hay, and dust-laden bedrooms and of course dusty beds are a problem for me.
And I am more of an vegeterian than of an flexitarian and I have to say that I like to eat a little more than a normal portion, so it would be nice if you can provide me with sufficient food.

I am so happy for all the work that Reinar did here in my Finca. He stayed almost 4 month with me. He helped with a lots of things special en the garden. I stayed in Tina's place a little bit over 3 months, and had a good time there. Did a lot of different things from gardening, cooking and building there, mostly simple work.

I completed the work on tina's door. Setted up the frame properly and filled the crack with silicone, cared for a smooth closing and finished the painting.

I left this place now over a half year and found it now necessary to update my profile here on workaway.
I stayed in there almost a half year. The reason why I stayed there so long is that I just liked the place, the nature and the people so much. It felt more to me like home than anything else. The work was mostly interesting and I could quiet… read more learn a lot of new skills there.
It was mostly construction work what I have done there, but thats okay. I had sometimes even my own projects and that is what made me happy too. I don't want to get into, what all I have done there, but one thing that is outstanding for me is that I have contributed in the living room and I hope many people will have a long time pleasure to sit and socialize in there.

In the end of my stay I worked in the kitchen. But that was great too. I never worked in such a professional kitchen and its good to got a glimpse how is it too make food for 40 or 60 people.
The food was real good and I often caught myself to have eaten to much again .
I met open, interesting and nice people there. I mean the Community guys and the workawayers too.
There where lots of workawayer there and I enjoyed very much to be with them. A real international crowed of mostly young people.

The Community guys where a little bit more mature, if I can say that but that is something what comes with experience.
but also nice and aware people, doing the best to step out of the destructive behaviour of humans in this world.

Accomodation was not always the best, but in the end I got a own room for myself and that was great.
But sharing rooms that are not so nice is a lot of a workawayer and so I can't complain. But it was never something what is called basic, it was always above. In the end of my stay the room situation improved too as the construction side was moving on.

To have more than a glimpse in to Community life is what I really enjoyed and would never miss this experience. There are always solutions to find and things to talk out, but thats the nature when so many people are living together. And it feels good to know how people are handling things in community’s.
After all I support Community life as a future life model thing too.

I didn't took much part in yoga or sound evenings, but I certainly took part in the jaccuzy and sauna wellness area when ever it was opened.

I never will forget the autumn there, I never saw so many mushrooms growing in the forest. The Schönseer Land as its called, is a nice, smooth hilly area, around 700 m above see level. It is because of the altitude there that it is a little bit more chilly and because of that I certainly never had so much snow over such a long time in my life. But in the end I was totally fed up with the winter there because of all the slipping and falling down in the snow so I packed my things together and travelled to Portugal.
Hope the Community there will grow ( I'm sure they do), and will be one of the lightning stars of the community in this world one day.
