Hi!
I'm Margaux and I'm a student in Sociocultural Animation and Lifelong Learning. I live in an intergenerational house-share in Brussels.
A few years ago I travelled to Colombia and Peru for 5 months, visiting and volunteering around. It was the best experience I ever had. I met so many amazing people, it felt like I learnt a lot more travelling than in 2 years at University. Now I've started Uni again, but I still want to go and travel every time there's an opportunity.
I'm pretty quiet and discreet, but sociable. I enjoy meeting new people and learn from them. I'm a very peaceful and positive mind and adapt very easily. I like respectful, open-minded people, with a good sense of humour.
I'm always willing to learn and try new things. I'm especially interested in creative stuff such as music, dance or any type of art.

I've developed good photography and writing skills thanks to my studies, so I can help with holding a website or any other need concerning Communication.
I currently work for the International Department of my University. I help holding a study program for refugees and asylum seekers as well as organising international exchanges. I also work every Summer in a World Music and Dance Academy, helping with the organization and assisting the students. Thanks to these jobs, I have a very good contact with people. I love making them feel comfortable.
I also worked in a cat hotel for two years so I have absolutely no problem with taking care of pets 😻
During my trip in South America, I worked one month at the reception of a hostel, and 2 weeks in an organization called Rayo de Sol, where volunteers had to sell pastries in the streets of Arequipa to collect money for a school in a poor neighborhood (where we also lived).
If you're interested in learning a new language, I studied French and Spanish for 2 years at University so I can help you with that !
Of course, I can also take care of a house. I don't know much about gardens, but if you need help with that, I'm always willing to learn!
