Description
Hi :)
we´re a family of four: me, Johanna, my husband Julian and our two kids Benjamin (3) and Amlie (1).
I’m a primary school teacher in Germany and also giving horse riding lessons as I’m very much into that sport! I´ve got lots of horse riding experience and a licence for teaching how to ride. I also do skydiving, mountain biking, rock climbing and snowboarding whenever I get the chance :) so I´m very active and got lots of energy.
I spent 14 months traveling the world in 2017/18 and worked almost the whole time via workaway. I´ve had some very good experiences with workaway and would love to find out how it might work to travel and work as a family.
I'm pretty independent, used to work hard and love doing it outside - even if it´s 45 degrees out and I get dirty! I don’t mind trying and learning new things every day, getting to use many different machines and being helpful wherever I can. I did lots of farmwork with all kinds of animals, but also took care of kids being a nanny for 6 months.
If I could combine our workaway stay with using my horse riding experiences or taking care of kids that would be amazing!
My husband Julian is an IT-Project Manager and has personnel responsibility. He´s working from home almost full time, which might also make it possible to travel during his work time, but primarily we would like to travel and work when he´s off work.
He´s a reliable, conscientious and very friendly person, who get´s along with almost everyone. He likes sports as much as I do - we´re a very active family - and likes to be outside as well. During the six months he spent in Australia he worked as a landscaper, demolished old buildings and helped with the redesign. He doesn´t mind hard work, heat or dirt. Also he´s quite knowledgeable in relation to any work with the computer or internet. And of course he´s a loving Dad, is good with kids and can cook a little :)
Our two children are lovely, normally well behaving and don´t have any special needs or diets. They´re used to be outside a lot, don´t watch TV or Smartphone and basically don´t get any sweets - yet :D
So. that´s us :)
We´re very much looking forward to meeting some nice people, that are willing to host a whole family in exchange for two peoples work in shifts, as one of us still has to look after the kids. But I think that should be possible even with a few arrangements (like for example pay for food or something like that).
We´d be very happy to hear from you and would love to learn more about your country and way of life!Interests

Johanna was always willing to help with any task. We wished she could have stayed longer.
We would be very happy to host Johanna again and hope that some of her friends may also come to experience life on the farm
