My name is Jade, and I'm pleased to meet you! I'm a french girl aged of 21. I'm studying Geology and Earth sciences in an engineering school north of Paris. I grew up in an old farm in the countryside, where my family still lives.
I'm planning to take a gap year in 2018-2019, to travel Europe! That's a big project, with more than 25 countries to cross... and a goal: discovering, learning, sharing! During this year, I will mostly involve myself in volunteering projects. I believe that is the best way to have a good insight into the culture and way of life. It will also be a wonderful opportunity for me to learn more about organic farming, permaculture, sustainable living. I'm really interested in all of these alternatives ways of life and I want it to be part of my gap year.
I believe I am an open-minded person, and travels are my passion. I love being on the road, but most of all, I love meeting people from all over of the world and discovering new places that are off the beaten path!
I'm also interested in and curious about a lot of other things: dance, books, photography, sciences, drawing... Friend of the nature, I love having a walk in the forest, admiring a beautiful scenery or doing sport outside. As a futur geologist, mountains have a particular signification for me.
I like to be active and I am commited in a lot of community projects at school. I also spent 3 weeks in Haïti for a charity work and I lived 4 months in the United States of America to study at the University of Nevada. I also have a little experience in volunteering: I spend 1 month in Ireland to take care about 70 goats and a big garden. It was an amazing experience!
I'm ready to work with you on any type of work: I love discovering new things and I'm a hardworker :) I promise you to be always honest, energic and positive!

I don't really have special skills but I'm learning quickly and I'm enthusiastic and harworking. Working outside don't afraid me at all, I have a quite a big experience in geological field trips (and hard conditions...). I love gardening and take care of animals, but I'm also comfortable with kids and "house" work. I'm naturally curious and accomodating, and it's never a problem for me to socialize with people! I can also help with computer (not at a very complicated level but I am quite comfortable with basic things), and I will pleased to teach you French!
French, English, German
I don't have any particular or special skill, but I'm always ready to help! I always try to be positive, cheerful and accomodating. I want to learn, share and smile every day of my life and the world in the perfect place for that! I believe I can bring something to every person I meet, and inversely. Hope to visit you soon!
