Hello! I'm Elena and I've recently finished my studies in art education in Germany. Now I am looking to spend about a year travelling and volunteering in different countries.
I love to be immersed in the process of creating something with my own hands, to make art but also to learn practical work processes, which allow me to find out the capacity and limitation of the material and of myself. I enjoy reading, dancing, gardening, having a good laugh and being silly, sharing food and having profound conversations. I’m an open-minded and attentive person who is curious about the world and learning new things.
In the bigger picture I care deeply for a future that is more inclusive to those who have been excluded for too long because of systemic and structural injustice and that instead thrives on tenderness and diversity.Interests

I have been exploring and traveling whilst doing volunteer work for many years mostly with the organisation WWOOF, with which I've worked on organic farms.
I enjoy working in the garden or helping with building projects as well as creative projects in general.
Also, I have experience with handcraft such as pottery, cob building, sewing, crocheting, spinning and weaving. In general I am very curious in learning new skills.
I'm experienced in childcare through working abroad as an Au Pair for a year as well as working at an Art House for children.
My studies in art were very hands-on with a lot of time to experiment, which I did mostly through sculpture.Age

No, but I do appreciate good food and regional organic produce. I understand though that the access to quality food can be a privilege that not everyone can afford.
