Hi!
The impossible became a reality - I got a year of unpaid leave! My steps lead to New Zealand, where I would like to travel and work. A few years ago I did a workaway in Italy and since I still remember it very fondly, I would like to experience a workaway here in New Zealand as well.
I am a twenty-six-year-old girl from a small town in the Czech Republic. I can be quite talkative, I try to keep an open mind all times and I believe that it is better to ask twice than to do something wrong twice.
At home, I work in Laboratory of reproductive biology as a lab technician, thanks to which I have a great sense of organization and meticulousness. I'm always ready to talk about how awesome science is!
I love animals, but I have experience mainly with dogs. But also as I studied agriculture, I know some basics about farm animals. It would be lovely to experience some work on a farm!
I am also interested in some hospitality work (stay). I would like to see all the “behind scenes” running a hotel, hostel, camp or restaurant.

- I worked in a pub during my studies, so I feel at home behind the bar.
- As I have 5 nieces and one nephew, I have experience in babysitting and tutoring. In addition, I worked as a basketball coach (children aged 5-13) for several years, so I am able to come up with physical activities for children. At the same time, I helped organize basketball camps.
- I’m able to cook, bake and iron. I have experience with cooking family dinners following given recipes.
- I have some experience with tree planting, working with wood chipper and wood splitter machine and with water blasting.
- I love cleaning! If you need to do some deep cleaning of your food cabinets, kitchen cupboards etc, I am the right person! (I just hate cleaning windows to be honest 😃.)
