Dear host family,
my name is Florentina. I am 32 years old and from Germany. I have a trainig in housekeeping, as a professional nannny and a degree in nutritional sciences. At the moment I´m at a primary school. Before that I was working at a chreche and a kindergarden. From September on I want to take a gap year (or half year) and travel the world again. Getting to know to new people, cultures and make new and interesting experiences.

I have worked in different restaurants and hotels and have been in England and Italy as an Aupair. Spending an amazing time with adorable families and their children. I have some experiences in gardening from our garden at home and in animal care from our dogs and cats. I live in a smal village on the countryside, thus I' am familiar with farming and different animals. My father is a carpenter, so i know how to use basic tools.
A few years ago I stayed in Nepal for 2 months with a agroforestry project helping to build a new bamboo house for the project.
Three years ago I had a incredible experience staying and working with a family at their small farm in California. I loved it so much there!
Last year I spend three weeks working at a dog shelter in Portugal.

I am a family person and I love children but also the nature and hard work. I am a fast learner and open minded and easy going person. I like the English language and would love to further improve it. I like all kind of sports and evering in the outdoors like hiking, skiing or swimming. I love to travel, sightseeing, meeting new interesting people and getting to know to new cultures and countries.
