Hello!
I am Marie and from Germany. Specifically from the north of Germany from a small city at the Baltic Sea.
I´ve always wanted to see the world and learn from all the different people and cultures that it has to offer, so registrating on this website has been an oppportunity I didn´t want to miss.
But now to myself: I love to do sports of all kinds and am always ready for a new challenge, I also love to read books and to go on long walks through the nature. I also am quite fond of playing video games and going to the cinema. And even though all of this is fun alone it is more entertaining to do it together and this is why friends and family are also really important for me.
For over two years I have been working at a restaurant to earn some money while still being in school, which also has helped me broadening my horizon regarding social skills and work ethic.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I think my skillset is pretty basic. I have always helped my family in the garden so I know the basics regarding plants. I have also helped my father build stuff for the garden or just following the instructions from a manual (which I think qualifies me as stress resistent ;D). My work in the restaurant has also shown me that I am capable of learning new things and adapting to new environments quickly.
In school I also organised a youth camp with some classmates twice and we executed it quite nicely which shows me that I am capable of patience and team-competence as well as organising.
Even though I am not the best cook or household manager I am not afraid to learn new things and to try till I perfected them.

Since doing my first Workaway in Iceland, I have learnt a great deal about potato farming and a bit of sheep herding and general maintenance :D
