My name is Leonie and I am from Germany and have lived in England from 2016 - 2022. Last year I first tried out worked away in New Zealand and the experience blew me away and I cannot imagine another way to travel now.

This year I am traveling to Norway and am looking forward to meeting new people, enjoying the nature and learn many more things.

I work in the culture production sector as a trainee project manager, mainly in podcast, videos and event formats where I love engaging with all kinds of people and being confronted with creative ideas and how to put them into practice.

I love meeting new people, learning new things and being in new environments, being out in nature and am used to accepting the weather as it is. I have lived in England and worked in the outdoor arts sector in the pas after all...
When it's quiet I love to read, play piano, cook (veggies) and write, draw and do photography.

I would like to work in nature and with animals, learn more about plants and help build things. It can be so satisfying starting with an unrenovated room and seeing how far you've come or building something for the garden.

With guidance I am happy to work in the garden and with animals and maintenance projects and am a quick learner. I am a good cook and like to make vegetarian and vegan meals for large groups of people (up to twenty), have held tools as paint rolers, sanders and drills in the hand before (but am a bit out of practice) and most importantly am friendly, reliable and hard working.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have studied BA(Hons) Technical and Production Management where I have learned how to work with a variety of people and how to put creative ideas into practice from the paper work to the hands on moments.

As part of different placements I have worked for theatres, arts centres, and the heritage organisation the National Trust. I am great with people and making sure they have a pleasant experience.

I have worked both as a tour guide and in an independent shop where I have helped with keeping the shop catalogue online, send out orders, keeping the social media profile running as well as welcoming customers and advising them.

At my latest full time employment I have worked as production assistant for an outdoor arts company. This involved finding and booking resources, organising and researching travel both nationally and internationally, communicating with freelancers and working on site assisting in setting up the shows and keeping an eye on the health and safety aspects during the event.

I am first Aid Trained and have a drivers license.

In my free time I have helped friends and family in renovating their homes which involved sanding and painting.

I am fluent in German and English. Besides that I love to cook vegetarian meals and am good with children and love animals (especially dogs)
