Descrição

Hello! We are Louisa and Hugo, an adventurous couple in our late 20s/30s, with a passion for travel and a strong interest in sustainability, alternative living, and caring for animals.

Over the past four years, we've enjoyed exploring parts of Europe, South America, and South East Asia together. As we get ready for another winter of travelling, we're excited about the opportunity to make an impact and involve ourselves with some inspiring projects.

Previously, we had an incredible Workaway experience on a horse farm/sanctuary in Portugal, where we cared for a variety of animals, including 10 horses and the family dogs and two kittens while learning about farm life. It was really inspiring and has motivated us to seek more Workaway experiences this year where we hope to bring our positive and hard working attitude to your project.

Louisa's professional background is in digital marketing for environmental organisations and charities (including social media and content writing) and would happily share her knowledge with you. Additionally, she contributed to the creation of a medicinal and food garden in Ecuador and has looked after school children in Malaysia on past volunteering trips.

Hugo is a sailing instructor by profession and has some practical DIY skills, ready to help with any tasks you might have. He has plenty of experience working in teams and grafting to get things done. We both love vegan/vegetarian cooking so would be happy to assist with any shared meals.

We're now seeking new experiences where we can contribute to eco-projects, work with animals, or assist with any interesting ideas you may have. With our positive outlook and strong work ethic, we're committed to learning more about sustainability, working in harmony with nature, and meeting new people.

We're friendly and social and love chatting and playing games. We'll bring along some cool card games to play with everyone. Hugo loves sports and practical skills while Lou's passions are hula hooping and hiking. We'd love to improve our surfing and pick up some new skills as well. It's also worth mentioning we also work online to fund our travels, so having a solid internet connection is really important to us.
