For my free time, my passions are languages and nature. I love to practice different languages, even better if I can travel to get to know the culture and people where they speak that language. Since I live in a big city, I really enjoy spending time in nature and being around animals, especially dogs.

Practicing languages is part of my everyday life, and I think the best way to do it is with other speakers, and even better being able to get to know their culture and country so I can understand them better and have wonderful experiences as a way to grow personnally. I usually participate in language exchanges with foreign people in my city, so I take every chance I get to go abroad myself.

Quais são suas habilidades?
I've studied languages at university and I've often participated in language exchanges and classes. I've always worked in customer service as a flight attendant and as a shop assistant. I'm always ready to learn and carry out different tasks paying a lot of attention to detail trying to do it the best I could and showing willingness and good attitude. I'm a very kind, empathetic, calm and helping colleague.

I'm considerate, open-minded and a very easy person to deal with because I like to get to know other people and I happily adapt to work or make plans with anyone no matter age, gender or background since I'm used to work with varied people. I love hiking, surfing, kayaking, visiting new places, going to music concerts or other artistic shows, sharing nice food and drinks with friends... I exercise at home watching yoga, dancing and work-out videos. When I have time, I like reading about nutrition and cooking nice, healthy meals for my housemates.

A wonderful place! I was there 2 weeks last year. I couldn't have asked for better hosts: Carine, Annick and the lovely dogs are super kind and welcoming. I was like part of the family - we prepared the meals and ate all together. They always made sure I was fine and provided anything I needed to make my stay as good… read more as possible.

I've learnt a lot from this experience, especially about the bio garden. They took the time to explain how it works and answered all my questions. The lifestyle there is very easygoing and healthy: pure air, quietness, surrounded by nature, delicious bio food, reasonable schedules with a few breaks to eat something and continue with more energy. Coming from the city, this was a paradise for me.

The tasks are doable even for inexperienced people: weeding, picking and washing vegetables... We work in the morning. After lunch I could either stay and continue with the garden tasks, or go to town and the beautiful surroundings (exploring the countryside and river trails).

Great for practising my French, we had nice conversations, and I can't thank them enough for their patience.

I'd be happy and grateful to come back any time :)

Un endroit merveilleux ! Je suis restée là 2 semaines l'année dernière. Je ne pourrais pas avoir eu mieux hôtes : Carine, Annick et les mignonnes chiennes sont vraiment gentils et bienveillantes. J'étais comme partie de la famille: on cuisinait and mangeait tous ensemble. Ils toujours s'assuraient que je soyez bien et ils me fournissaient les choses dont j'avait besoin pour faire mon séjour agréable.

J'ai appris beaucoup de cette expérience, surtout sur les jardins bio. Ils prennent leur temps pour m'expliquer comment il fonctionne et répondre toutes mes questions. Le style de vie là est très tranquille et sain : de l'air pur, calme, entouré de la nature, nourriture bio délicieuse, rythme équilibré pour faire les tâches et se déposer. Venant de la ville, c'est un vrai paradis pour moi.

Les tâches sont faisables, même pour ceux qui ne sont pas habitués à travailler dans un jardin : désherber, ramasser et laver les légumes... On travaille pendant la matinée. Après le repas on a le choix de rester pour continuer les tâches du jardin, ou d'avoir de temps libre pour se promener au village ou aux jolis environs (la campagne, la rivière).

Génial pour pratiquer mon français, on avait de bonnes conversations et je ne peux pas les remercier assez pour leur patience.

Je serais heureuse de retourner là :)

Ines stayed at my house for only a few days thanks to a last minute message, but we hit it off well and had very interesting conversations. She is easy going, easy to communicate with and was very dedicated with the task of repairing the fence. You´re welcome to come back!

Ines was a great volunteer.Even though she only stayed for a short while, she helped a lot in every task we had at hand.An independent thinker, she followed instructions well and picked up on things quickly.Reliable, honest and fun to be around, she made smart sugestions and we loved it.🙂👍
