Nous avons passé un mois et demi chez Dario et sa famille et ce fut vraiment génial. Nous étions en totale autonomie pendant cette période car ils étaient en voyage et ils avaient besoin de gens pour s'occuper de leur adorable chienne Laïka, avec qui nous nous sommes beaucoup attachés ainsi que du jardin et quelques tâches de bricolage. En plus de cela nous avons eu la chance de recevoir régulièrement la visite de leur chatte Pelusa dont nous ne devions pas nous occuper mais qui a vite fait partie de notre quotidien pour notre plus grand plaisir. La vie était très agréable durant ce mois et demi, avec une vue magnifique, sûrement l'une des plus belles de la ville, et beaucoup de choses à faire dans les environs. Le studio dans lequel nous logions était très bien équipé, confortable et nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. Merci beaucoup à Dario et sa famille pour leur confiance et leur gentillesse. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette expérience !

Adrian and I hosted Veronica for 10 days in September and it was a great experience from start to finish. Veronika is full of joy and fun and we had many laughs together. I found her interesting and enjoyed listening to her experiences and views on life. She did good work in the garden helping with clearing veg beds and covering them up for the winter, a lot of weeding and was a tremendous help during our apple harvesting and juicing day. I would definitely recommend her to future hosts as being reliable, trustworthy and good fun!

We stayed with Claudia for just a few days, and even though our time there was short (and unfortunately we were ill 😭), it was a really lovely experience! Claudia was so kind and understanding — she adjusted the workload based on how we were feeling and made sure we were comfortable, which we really appreciated ♥️ and Lolo was very kind and helpful with tips and remedies to help us getting better too xx The place itself is beautiful, with a peaceful atmosphere and lovely animals 🫶🏼 There’s a gorgeous river nearby that’s perfect for a walk or a swim and on days off you can visit Pichilemu to watch the surfers — the view is breathtaking! Thank you Claudia for being so welcoming and caring. We truly enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer! 🌷

Bianca and Andrew were great guests. They helped me with gardening and painting woodwork. They are very independent and do an excellent job without needing much guidance. I also really appreciate how clean they left everything afterward — that’s always a big plus for me. I’d gladly recommend them to any future hosts!

Leaving this family was such a hard thing to do and I can't wait to come back!! ✨💗 I had the privilege of staying with Camilla and Alfies' family for three months and it was perfect! From the very start I felt at home, due to all of them being so loving and welcoming. 🏡 Camilla and Alfie are just so open-hearted that it was really easy to have a great conversation with them or hear about stories and adventures. I was also ALWAYS able to have a good laugh because of their impeccable sense of humor! 🩷 They are both amazing in the kitchen and I regularly got to try new parts of the traditional cuisine. Everything I tried in their kitchen was so tasty! Something I'll definitely never forget are the sandwiches Camilla and I used to make. They are one of the best things I've ever tasted! 🥪 And cheesy pasta will absolutely become one of my new comfort foods. 🍝 Iris and Pearl are just the sweetest!! ❤️ Iris is such a mature and lovely girl. It was so effortless to share a conversation or a laugh with her. I really loved playing netball with her as well! 🥰🏐 Pearl is so energetic, creative and always thought of something fun to do. I was constantly impressed by her various creations and ideas! 💗🎨 I'm really gonna miss their pets as well. Magic regularly came to me for a cuddle and Elvis is probably one of the cutest dogs I’ve ever met. He was so excited to play ball for hours or go for some beautiful walks. ❤️🐈‍⬛🐕 The house and the beautiful garden are truly stunning and I always had the opportunity to take a few minutes for myself in my own room or enjoy everybodys company! 💐🏡 In and around Bath there are so many great places to see and I was constantly encouraged to go out and meet up with people while being offered a ride into the city! 🏙️🚄 Overall I’m so grateful for everything I got to experience! I truly couldn’t have picked a more loving and caring family! I’ll forever cherish all the memories and love I took home with me! 🩷🤗 Ich liebe euch ❤️❤️

Hosting this amazing couple was great. Tracy and Neil are an awesome team, always eager to help, kind and hardworking. Talking and sharing with them was so interesting and fun. I definitely give them a five star rating, they deserve it!

It was true pleasure to have Liepa here on the farm. She is a good goatherd walking our goats in the mountain responsibly. We also made some electric fences together, Liepa picked up this new skill with ease. Thank you liepa for helping us and hopefully see you again.

Kristóf and Dorka were a great help here at my home, always on time and organized, and now the date bags are all sewn and the Bermuda grass has been leveled. They make a great team and any Workaway host would be fortunate to have them at their place. +++++

Lorie and Laura are an awesome duo, they stayed with us on our farm for two weeks, during that time they helped us with all sorts of projects, traditional building techniques, making wood furniture, weeding and plant care, assisting with health and wellness products, harvesting herbs, cooking for all of us, and including our children, and lots of photography, Lorie has a great eye for taking photos and a good camera too. It was a pleasure to host Lorie and Laura, we highly recommend them both to future hosts, they both communicate well, put in their best effort in any and all tasks, honest, hardworking and fun to have around. They are welcome to stay with us anytime we have only good things to say about them.

Sometimes happens to know a person of which you can only speak very well: and Olivia is one. She's always smiling, propositive, kind, enthusiast, discreet...whatever is doing, she does it fast and well. Her help has been so useful that we lack the words to express our endless gratitude. We really hope that she enjoyed staying here just one tenth of how much we enjoyed her presence and her support. We'll never forget her, this is for sure !

We stayed with this energizing family for only one week, but it was very enriching for us. Francesca and Antonio work hard in their tough schedules, but always find time to talk, explain and laugh. The garden is very unique and the principles what Francesca is experimenting with was good lesson for us. Good luck with your big project. Thank you.

This was our first Workaway, and we feel so lucky to have stayed with Danièle! She was very kind, welcoming, and also super interesting to chat with. She is very knowledgeable about gardening, languages, and so much more. We left Lacanau feeling like we had learned so much. The work was very straightforward, and we both felt like the three hours flew by. After working, you're completely free to do whatever you'd like! Danièle has bikes, surfboards, and boogie boards, which we were very grateful to use during our stay. The bungalow she provides is very well-kept, which made our stay very comfortable. We especially loved cooking meals in the kitchen because of its wonderful view of the garden. Thank you Danièle, for such an amazing Workaway!

Hiranya and Sherynas came to my home and immediately were part of life. WE had a great time together. THEIR great dog Bolt is a big character but adorable as are his owners.They are very capable of doing any job inside or outside the house. THIS lovely couple will be a great addition to any home.I hope to welcome them both back to my home someday

We stayed with this nice family in July for two weeks. It was amazing experience. They are perfect hosts and good people always helpful, calm and empathic. House, yard and work was good planned and organized. Food was always delicious. We enjoyed also free time together like hiking and picnic together. Thea area is wonderful for many activities and sports. We fully recommend this host for families.

Jan is an exceptional volunteer: respectful, polite, kind, and always willing to help. He was enthusiastic in the vineyard and also very helpful around the house, showing great commitment. It has been a real pleasure having him here, and I’m sad to say goodbye. Highly recommended!

Mis dias en el Valle de Elqui fueron simplemente increibles. En una casa preciosa y muy buen ambiente, pude conocer este magico valle y tambien una pareja a la que ojalá poder parecerme algun dia. Coni i Justin son majissimos, con ellos pude aprender mucho sobre construcción, cultura, su proyecto y su vision sobre el valle y chile. Me recibieron con los brazos abiertos y no se lo podria agradecer mas, se preocuparon siempre de que estuviera bien y las jornadas de trabajo fueron igual de justas que de entretenidas. De nuevo, gracias por todo y ojala poder volver algun dia :) Siendo mi primera experiencia workaway no podria haver sido mas positiva!

I had a really great time here! The main reason I am traveling now is to view and experience different farms and organic practices for my own uses one day. I was very impressed with the infrastructure they had and how they worked efficiently and effectively and they want you to succeed as well. If I had any questions they were more than helpful in getting me started. The "outdoor" kitchen was a great place to hangout and where we ate most of our meals. They have a reallllyyyyyy nice pizza oven and some of the best vegan pizza I have ever had in my life, and I'm not vegan. I got to help plant kale and chard, I harvested so many tomatoes! and they were delicious! You have to try the cherry tomatoes in order to get the correct ripe ones. Also zucchini and eggplant and helping build some greenhouses. There's a couple small villages nearby, one you can walk to and one you can bike too, mostly for getting chocolate bars or a tasty pastry. I really had a good time with Alexander and Cynthia and Alex and I wish them the best and hopefully will see them again one day :)
