Sierra was a wonderful addition to our work team. She is confident, capable and diverse in her skills. She did a great job learning to cook breakfast for our guests and providing yummy baking. She willingly did a diversity of jobs around the place, and noticed when things needed to be done. Her attitude of kindness to our guests and fellow staff members was an asset. We wish her the best in her continued journey.

In the beginning I was planning to stay there for 4 days but already the first day I changed my mind because the place and Laura was so welcoming that I ended up spending two weeks there. The work is always correlated to your abilities and what you prefer to do, in the free time there are a lot of different walks from you can choose and the area is so relaxing that you will enjoy them for sure. I want to thank Laura because I felt at home and she always care and provide everything you need especially social interaction

When someone you just met, who appears from the other side of the world and enters your house, in just a few days becomes not only a friend, but almost a member of the family and household you live in, then that is probably the highest possible level of enthusiasm I can express for these two wonderful people! Any other host who will ever read this text, can be absolutely sure that without having to think about it, they will undoubtedly welcome into their house the best possible people they could wish for themselves. In fact, far more than that! Inger and Malcolm helped me do so much in such a short time that it is simply incredible! They stick to the agreement, take on more than necessary with cooking, dishes, housekeeping, shopping... nothing is too much for them to do to make everyone feel good! I enjoyed every moment from the first greeting in the morning to going to bed in the evening! Walks, swimming, conversations by the fireplace, sauna, visits to various places... I felt like I had known them since I was little, and we were together for exactly 7 days! What more can I say!? THANK YOU! With people like that, the world is a beautiful place...

Nasi is a very nice, helpful and calm person. She arrived during bad weather: rain, snow and a power cut that lasted almost three days. What's more, our shower wasn't finished yet, which meant we had to shower outside. Despite these difficult conditions, Nasi adapted very well and never complained. She was a great help: she picked up apples and stones, helped Steve clear snow from the tree branches, cooked and did some washing up. She also took the time to play, do handcraft and some schoolwork with the children. Towards the end of her stay, Sarah had to leave for a few days, and Nasi's presence was invaluable!

Esperienza che porterò sempre nel cuore! Sono stata tre settimane con Stefano e Yuan mi hanno fatto subito sentire a casa con pasti deliziosi preparati con verdure e legumi, sono delle persone fantastiche aperte allo scambio di idee e alla condivisione! La mattina facevo dei lavoretti inerenti all'orto, alla conservazione di alimenti e alla legna. Nel tempo libero c'è tantissimo spazio dove poter camminare fare esercizi o semplicemente rilassarsi :) Stefano mi ha insegnato molto sulla permacultura e sulle piante, grazie molte! Per riassumere, andate e vedrete quante cose belle potrete trovare e fare! Ultimo ma non per importanza ci sono tanti gattini super carini tra cui Coffe, Mary e Carmen delle gattine super coccolose! Sean came to Harrison Hot Springs near the end of September and stayed for 2 weeks. He is a very pleasant gentleman with strong work ethics and a good conversationalist. Sean was present and very helpful when I needed assistance in preparing my property for the winter season. I would strongly recommend Sean for any workaway opportunity and he is more than welcomed to come back to Harrison in the spring/summer of 2026. Best wishes to you in your adventures and travels. We spent a week at Naveen and Pooja's house and it couldn't have gone better! They welcomed us warmly and helped us with any need we had. Both they and their children, Archit and Arnav, are kind, helpful people who love cultural exchange. We spent wonderful evenings thanks to the delicious food cooked by Pooja and their company, chatting and playing games. Our first approach to India was wonderful, and for this, we especially have them to thank!

it was a great time to spend one week with Maja and Lukasz. We were working in the garden with diggin and helping with basic building work around the house. bicycling, nice conversation and great private room was absolutely amazing. we very recommend them as a hosts and people. if you want they going to the church every Sunday to the Tbilisi so it's also good thing

Manuela's stay with us has been very positif. She has done the cooking and walking with the dog. It was interesting to share personal experiences with her. All the best to you Manuela.

Our experience with Mercedes has been very positif. She likes to cook and really cookes very healthy and tasty. And she loves animals, so our dog was very happy to spend some time with here. Mercedes is very assertif and sure of hereself. All the best!

David is a professional bilder and you can see that he knows how to do things. He helped me lay tiles on a bit of the terrace. Unfortunately he started to have problems with his back after a week. So he decided to go much earlier than planned. I would have liked to have had him much longer here. He is polite, friendly and responsible. Did a great job here. I wish him all the best.

The experience with Claire has been very nice for all of us. She helped us with all which was necessary at home, was very helpful and nice. We had good conversations and everything was positif for all of us.

We stayed less than two weeks, but we loved the place. Jimmy’s house is very welcoming and a lovely place to live! Thank you for your trust and kindness! 🤗

We stayed with Alois for a week and he really made sure to pack in all the Austrian experience during it!! We really loved the beautiful area around with lots of cool hikes he recommended. Also an amazing chef - food straight from the garden and was always delicious. Would highly recommend staying here, such a great host and good vibes!

My time volunteering at Rupert's eco camp was simply wonderful. The camp itself is stunning. In the heart of nature in Nata, Botswana, I loved waking up everyday in my tent to so many loving animals, fresh breeze from the trees, so much greenery, and all the lovely people. I loved working with my hands helping Rupert build a new cabin and the wonderful kitchen created a warm environment to cook many delicious meals with friends who felt like family. Rupert is truly one of the most genuine humans I've met in my 2.5 years of travel. He has a big heart and a warm smile, and I truly enjoyed my 10 days of doing yoga together, eating meals, walking dogs and working on the camp together so much!!! I hope I had a longer visa, so I could've stayed longer, but I can't wait to go back again one day. I really am so grateful for the opportunity to have volunteered here and can't recommend it enough to any fellow traveler who wants to have a good meaningful experience.

Ebe is an incredible woman. I felt welcomed into her home from day one. We worked together and also spent a lot of time together. She took me to see Lake Vico and we had a picnic. It was wonderful. Ebe is also an excellent cook. I was happy to be able to participate in the olive harvest and see the process through to the end. I even had time to taste the fresh olive oil and brought some home with me. I highly recommend it. I took the opportunity to make a video of my stay at Ebe's house and posted it on YouTube. Trabalhamos juntas e também passeamos bastante juntas. Ela me levou para ver o Lago Vico e fizemos piquenique. Foi maravilhoso. Ebe também é uma cozinheira excelente. Fiquei feliz de poder participar da colheita de azeitonas e ver o processo até o final. Ainda tive tempo de provar o azeite fresquinho e trouxe um pouco comigo. Super recomendo. I had a wonderful 3 weeks with Annalisa, Danielle and little Momo. Both their sections are beautiful and I looked forward to the amazing lunches each day, Danielle you are an amazing cook! They have lots of animals to spend time with and there are many cool spots to explore nearby especially with a bike. I would definitely recommend this workaway!

J’ai passé mon premier workaway ici et je n’aurais pas pu trouver un meilleur endroit pour faire cette expérience pour la première fois. Tout le monde est extrêmement gentil et l’atmosphère est chaleureuse et positive. J’ai adoré participer aux petits projets, aider au jardin et voir comment la communauté organise leurs vies. J’ai aussi appris beaucoup de choses que je vais essayer de recréer dans ma propre vie, et j’ai pu voir une perspective qui m’a beaucoup plu. Je vais garder mes souvenirs de ce temps très près pour longtemps. Merci de m’avoir accueilli!

I truly enjoyed my time with Ruth and Michael. I love helping on their homestead with them. I also brought my bike and rode the back roads. I already have plans to go back in March.
