I’m currently staying with Cara and her family, and I couldn’t be happier! From the first moment we met, they made me feel like I’m part of their family. I help get the kids ready in the morning, play games with them, join the family on some of their trips and enjoy dinner with them. I also help with folding laundry, cooking and cleaning the bathrooms and floors. It’s super easy to arrange the help they need and plan my free time. We always find a schedule that works best for everyone. They’re also always kind, flexible, and happy to answer any questions I have, so everything runs really smoothly. My first few weeks couldn’t have been better and I’m really looking forward to the weeks ahead. I can only recommend staying with this lovely family! Best wishes :) Lina

Staying at Yosun’s place was inspiring. It’s a beautiful spot in the mountains, surrounded by stunning nature. The place is still taking shape, and already a lot has been accomplished since Yosun moved there with all her beloved animals. Horses, donkeys, sheep, chickens, dogs, and cats are being cared for with love and dedication. My son and I helped collect stones from the land, spent time with animals, had fun with the other volunteers - and learned a lot from Yosun about what’s possible when someone puts their heart, time, and strength into what they believe in. Staying there left a deep impression on both of us.

Well you drive up Mt Rolland then as your going down the backside you take a hard right. Once you get down the steep windy part of the rode you have entered the bubble. A small world of it's own Lorinna ,you can be forgiven if forget the world exists outside this valley. In this amazing place you will meet Arana ,Nick and there two kids and find the wonderful place they have made home. A great property they share with family and friends welcoming you to be a part of it all . It's not a place of simple exchange of work for food and accommodation but more about being apart of the whole process. Beautiful views ,a stunning lake and winding roads to see it all. A cosy house, late night games of boggle and a welcoming atmosphere that will see time just fly by. If you find yourself here count yourself lucky, I could of stayed longer but intend to return.

I spend like 5 weeks with Paulina in her beautiful and peaceful place and it was wonderful! She is a very good hostess always worry about my needs and making sure I was comfortable so I could feel like I’m home 😊.. if you like nature peace this is for you , task were easy and it was both of us doing things not just me wish felt like a team work .. Paulina let me chose the hour to start my tasks , in my case I liked to get up have a nice breakfast then start helping her with whatever thing we have to do that day .. weather was amazing sunny and sometimes it would snow leaving a beautiful view of the mountains with snow .. she has 3 beautiful and adorable cats I miss them they would be around me giving me company when I was doing the work outside .. hopefully one day I can comeback again I miss the beautiful place Paulina and the cats a lot ♥️

Wow! What a pleasure it was to have Ellie helping us during the fall! She fit right in with our family and with the rest of the crew. She was always available to help and flexible with our needs, and so attentive to our kids, it was really beautiful to see. She was keen for team activities, she put efforts to make things happen and made sure everyone had a good time. Constantly in a great mood which was a blessing! She is a bright, generous and full of life person with whom you’re bound to have a good time. Thank you for choosing us for your Yukon experience Ellie, it was a true pleasure having you here!

We thoroughly enjoyed having Sara with us. She integrated into our family and life very sweetly. Her warm personality and openness to help with anything was deeply appreciated. All the tasks given were done perfectly and she understood our needs amazingly. Her dances with my son and delicious cooking was an added bonus to put smiles on our faces. A wonderful and interesting person that we would recommend to anyone considering. We hope she comes again!!

It was a pleasure to host Barbara, she helped us at the reception area. She did a great job, very responsable, great communicating with the guests and also working as team. Birgit & Frank were a lovely couple and keen to take on all tasks they were given. They achieved a lot more than backpackers a lot younger than them, and their work quality was excellent. We enjoyed the experience of improving their english language skills, and interaction with them over the dinner table with lots of laughs.

What an amazing experience!!❤️ The teachers and everyone in the village are so welcoming and friendly. The village is super cute and cozy. It was easy to communicate with Alex and everything was made so easy and flexible for us. Accommodation was good, better than expected. No complaints. Grateful for Alex and his family for the experience. If you are thinking about it, do it! ❤️

The staff here felt Carmen was laid back but equally curious and coming up with thoughtful and interesting questions about Buddhism, Confucianism, and experiences in Taiwan. She helped do final edits of translation for us in German which is greatly appreciated. When there wasn't a basic housekeeping task for the day she would self initiate work and check in with the office about other activities. She made the best use of her time exploring Taipei when not doing exchange work and hope she has good memories to bring back home!

Moses was an easy volunteer to have at our academy~ staff found him respectful, flexible to situations, punctual, and engaged when needed. In his off time he went out and explored or was having meaningful conversation with staff and other volunteers bringing in his experience and interests in global issues, culture, and politics.

I spend good time with Miss gandis and her family. I can say than you for the opportunity to join your in your family and let me feel like one of you. We have eat together, play together and did many activities that i never aspect to do ( like join in a traditional wedding very appreciated) . Every component of your family was great with me. I hope you the best for you .

Wir haben eine Woche das Projekt von Sani erleben dürfen. Unser erstes Projekt für uns persönlich. Als wir ankamen wurden wir super von Sani empfangen und uns wurde das Konzept mit allen Hintergründen des Projekts erklärt. Man hat sofort den Spirit und die Leidenschaft von Sani gemerkt. Die Menschen und vorallem die Kinder in dem Dorf Batu Layar sind super nett und man kann mit jedem ein tolles Gespräch führen, auch wenn es hier und da Sprachbarrieren gibt. Wir kamen zu einem besonderen Zeitpunkt an, da Sani also der Projektgründer leider mitten in der Woche gehen musste. Da er nun für längere Zeiten weg ist, war das Projekt vorher und nachher anders. Vorallem im Bezug auf die Strukturierung und Einleitung der neuen Volunteere. Aber das wird sich sicherlich noch einspielen. Man brauch sich auch gar kein Kopf zu machen, dass die eigenen Englischkenntnisse zu wenig sind, denn die Kinder stehen noch sehr am Anfang. An den beiden freien Tagen haben wir einen super schönen Ausflug zu mehreren kleinen Gili Inseln mit Schnorcheltrip gemacht, das war echt toll. Auch wenn es gegen Ende ein Problem gab und man das nur mit Sani telefonisch klären konnte, hat es sich geklärt. Die Woche war eine tolle Erfahrung. Das Projekt ist eine große Empfehlung.

I only spent a week in Yufu and Francisco's beautiful home, but I feel like I should have stayed longer; one week isn't enough. They are truly wonderful people who make you feel at home and are very attentive to your well-being. The house is nestled in the woods, near the river, and is simply beautiful. Francisco's cooking is simply excellent, and their ceramics are stunning. I highly recommend this place; I wish I could have been more helpful! Thank you.

Vasco a séjourné deux semaines à la ferme, où il a été d’une aide précieuse. C’est une personne travaillante, fiable et très consciencieuse. Pendant son séjour, nous avons fait les préparatifs pour l’hiver, et il s’est investi pleinement dans toutes les tâches. Il est poli, respectueux, dévoué et a une excellente attitude avec les enfants comme avec toute la famille. J’aurais aimé qu’il puisse rester plus longtemps, mais chacun a ses projets. Vasco est le bienvenu à la maison en tout temps sa présence a été grandement appréciée. Vasco stayed at our farm for two weeks and was a great help. He is hardworking, reliable, and very dedicated. During his stay, we prepared for the upcoming winter, and he fully engaged in all the tasks. He is polite, respectful, and has a wonderful attitude with both the children and the family. I wish he could have stayed longer, but everyone has their own plans. Vasco is always welcome back at our home his presence was truly appreciated.

We were welcomed so kindly and felt at home right away. The family was incredibly friendly and considerate of our dietary preferences. Also we loved to make our own peanut butter and really enjoyed cooking for them. We we're helping out in the garden with trimming and weeding, and also did some indoor work when it rained. They even drove us to town and picked us up again which we are really grateful for. It was such a lovely experience overall, and their animals are absolutely adorable. Thank you for everything we had a great time!
