I stayed here for 1 month, helping with the end of the tomato and pumpkin harvest season. We were paid for all hours worked and provided with a shared self catered accommodation in a container house on the farm, as well as a car we could use freely. The work was repetitive but not very hard. Akaigawa is a very peaceful place to stay and I enjoyed my free time there taking walks and visiting nearby areas, although I wouldn't recommend it for someone who has a need for constant entertainment. I enjoyed working with Satoshi, Bijeta, and the other volunteers, having interesting conversations and hanging out with the animals on the farm. It was my first time working on a vegetable farm and I found it very interesting to see how everything is done and learn about various farming methods.

This soul.. A classic situation here at my place where stranger became brother. He is one of them. We learn alot together. I really wish he would become a host also one day. And wish him the exposure he needed to become a videographer..which already excellent right now. Definitely recommended Majid to his future host. He is available whenever needed. The knowledge he accumulate also quite oustanding. Told him he have a home here in Lurah Bilut.

I stayed at the farm for just over three weeks, and I had a great time. There were a lot of volunteers around all the time, many coming and leaving, so it was never boring. The atmosphere was relaxed and super fun. We worked quite a lot, but it didn't actually feel like it because it was different tasks all the time. Everyone was very kind and the food was very delicious. We also went to the city every weekend to play pickleball, pool, go to restaurants and clubbing. I strongly recommend a visit!

We loved our stay at Sara and Przemek's house. There was always something to do around the animals - we learned many useful farming skills. Kids were lovely and we enjoyed playing with them and teaching them. The whole family is very open and they treated us like a part of the family. Food was homemade and delicious. We will come back for sure!

I had one of the best summers and Workaway experiences in Pecka. The area and the people are absolutely beautiful. What Boro and his family whit Pedja have created here is truly inspiring, a living example of how to bring new life to the countryside and build meaningful communities anywhere in the world. The work was always diverse and fun, from helping in the kitchen, cutting wood, fixing things around the center, or taking care of the place when no one was around. But it wasn’t all work! There was also plenty of time to relax, explore the stunning surroundings, go to festivals, and meet incredible people from all over the world who came to visit the center. One of my favorite memories was going to the Sana Spring with the dogs, such a magical and peaceful experience. If you’re a climber or someone who loves the outdoors, this is definitely your place. Even if you just want to explore the culture and learn about the history of Bosnia and ex-Yugoslavia, Pecka is a perfect destination. I’m deeply grateful for everything, for the laughs, the learning, and the connections I made. I can’t wait to come back and visit again. Definitely one of my favorite places in the world. Thank you so much for everything, guys!

I cannot say enough good things about Janine and this amazing experience that I was lucky enough to have. I moved to Italy 17 months ago, and these 5 months at this workaway was without a doubt the most incredible, memory-making time that I can remember. The beautiful sights are endless. The calm and peace and like something that I have never imagined or seen before. And there was an amazingly friendly black cat that stole my heart also. Doing the work here was very enjoyable to be able see how every little thing made such a difference. The work was very fulfilling . The pool was incredible. The villas are incredible. I had always dreamt of being out in the nature and living in a peaceful environment. This was a wonderful taste of that experience. If you get the opportunity and are fortunate enough to be able to stay here, you better take advantage of it and cherish it because there are not many things that are as truly beautiful as this location. I have done multiple workaways over the past 17 months and this was my favorite, by far. The pictures I took were better than any postcard. The memories I made will stay with me forever. The weather is ideal. The locals are extremely friendly. You will be close to many famous and well-known sites and cities. Janine herself was truly a phenomenal person. She is kind and caring and provides the best opportunity to fully immerse yourself into the Tuscany culture and lifestyle. I cannot say enough good things about Janine and this workaway experience. It truly has been the best experience I have had so far in Italy. Thank you, Janine!

Lucy and Aaron have been such amazing helpers in our home for the last month, if there was a 10 star option I would for sure be ticking it! Such a lovely couple in so many ways, great energy, easy going, lots of laughs, it was wonderful to enjoy their company around our home and we felt very lucky to be hosting! Both happy to complete any tasks to help me and I really appreciate all their time, commitment, hard work and enthusiasm. The help included - dog walking, laundry, meal prep, gardening, planting, weeding, harvesting seaweed for our veg beds. Also various cleaning projects and decluttering jobs around the house and day to day help around the kitchen. Aaron and Lucy made great connections with both our children with their positive energy and sense of humour, and this meant the world to us and really was the biggest help of all. So much fun was had playing hide and seek tag, lego, arts and crafts and I have to mention the many many games of monopoly...thankyou, ha, ha! Highly recommend to any future hosts, tidy, punctual, respectable, trustworthy , super easy going with food, and always so so kind and friendly! It is going to leave a little hole for while for every one of us to not having you both around, but we are thankful for the great memoires made and wish you both the very best in the future! Keep in touch and please visit again any time!

I spent three wonderful months in Stazzema with Andrea and Elizabeta, helping them renovate their beautiful house. From the very first day, they welcomed me with open arms and made me feel at home. The food they prepared was always delicious and made with love. The work was fun, varied, and full of opportunities to learn, Andrea is so patient and always open to teach you, even if you have no experience as a handyman. During my free time, I loved exploring the area: hiking in the mountains, visiting nearby cities or the beach, or simply enjoying peaceful walks with Gea. I’m deeply grateful for this experience it gave me not only new skills and unforgettable memories, but also genuine friendships. I already planning to visiting them again, and moving to Stazzema soon.

Short Review for Stas Stas stayed with us for almost six months, and we couldn’t have asked for a better volunteer! He’s hardworking, positive, kind, and full of great energy. Always smiling and ready to help with anything. We truly enjoyed having him here and highly recommend him to any future hosts — you’ll be lucky to have him! Hope to see you again soon, Stas 🌿 — Moti and, the Team

I spent 16 days here. The accommodations were wonderful, with a room with a private bathroom, a comfortable bed, and Wi-Fi. The work was relatively easy, although sometimes arduous. Being in touch with the earth is relaxing. The food was excellent: simple but delicious, abundant, with wonderful fruit and lots of chai. I would like to thank Toure, who gave me directions and shared his experience, time, and patience. I was treated with great respect and kindness. The place is a few kilometers from the nearest town, but they can take you there, or you can simply walk through the countryside and get there very easily. I highly recommend the experience. My best wishes to Emin Ali, the owner. Although I didn't meet him, he was always quick to answer messages, and to all the staff.

Luana was in Palermo for one month and half during summer and her contribution to our organization was great! She made a lot of friends with the expats in Palermo, she was always ready to help with the apartments and our communication was always respectful, friendly and easy. She is very open-minded and easy going, definitely 5 stars 🤩

Staying with Ezgi and her family was a really special experience 🌿. The house is amazing — very comfortable, with a spacious bed, a private bathroom, and lots of privacy. You can use everything freely, and Ezgi is a wonderful host who makes sure you have whatever you need. Everything about the tasks and expectations is clearly communicated and fair. The family has its own strong dynamic — full of energy and life! The boys are funny, talkative, and always ready to share stories. We truly miss playing with Taco Kedi 🐈‍⬛ with Demir and hearing Deniz’s Metallica-style drum sounds echoing through the house 🥁. Bursa itself is an interesting city, reachable in about 40 minutes by bus, and a trip to the beautiful Uludağ Mountain is definitely worth it! The village where they live is more of a modern residential area — not the most scenic for walking, but very safe and comfortable. Ezgi is truly impressive — managing her family, her company, and everything else with incredible drive and grace. You can feel she’s the heart and engine of it all 💫. We wish Ezgi and her family all the very best — many more beautiful journeys and inspiring encounters around the world! 💕

We spent almost 4 months with Alen. It was a wonderful time and we learned so much from him and the work we were doing. Alen always was keen to help, no matter if it was work related or fixing manus surfboard/ helping out with a probe at our car. It never felt like a "boss" but like a friend/colleague. This place has a lot to offer: I (Ronja) got into sports here as you have enough space for it and having a good path to go running. Manu improved his surf skills to a higher level as the beach is super close to the place. It is definitely a "see you later"

I spent three weeks here and it was truly special! The volunteer group was incredible, some of the most wonderful people I've ever met. The work was challenging at times, but overall very rewarding and varied. I had the opportunity to learn a lot about permaculture and natural clay construction. Amazing lunches, thanks to Emy! Wonderful nature all around, several weekends by the ocean, and music events with the other volunteers. Thank you, George!

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Paul and Linda are such sweethearts! I volunteered to create a video showcasing their wonderful projects from weaving and homestay to soap and coconut oil making. It was such a fun and fulfilling experience working with them. Their homestay is beautifully set amidst lush rice fields, and the room provided was clean, cozy and comfortable. Linda’s cooking is truly next level — every meal was made with so much love! She’s one of the kindest, most genuine souls I’ve met, and her parents are just as warm and welcoming, always smiling and offering me something to eat, haha. Paul and I had the best conversations about digital marketing, travel, and food. He’s so enthusiastic and full of energy! They truly appreciated my work and the volunteer exchange turned out to be such a meaningful experience. I’m deeply grateful for their kindness and hospitality and I really hope our paths cross again someday. Thank you so much for hosting me, Paul and Linda! 🌸

A wonderful humbling experience, especially in my first 2,5 weeks of no running water. Now we have it!! It boosted moral and what a pleasure!! The tranquility, peace and quiet of living on the farm, with no traffic noise is a luxury not many experience. I would recommend anybody who likes a bit of adventure. John is a great host, very knowledgeable and full of stories to keep you entertained. Who needs TV!! Thanks John, i will never forget my month i spent with you and Ronan.

We had the pleasure in having Enno and William here for a small week. In short – the only thing we're sorry about is that we didn't get to spend more time with them. They're two responsible, friendly and considerate young gentlemen. We (they?) were lucky with the weather, so they spent most of the time outdoors helping with various gardening tasks such as moving bamboo plants, weeding and making the green house representable after a busy season (and stormy days). They were diligent with their work and it was very helpful for us having them around. Even though we didn't get many memories together, they're still good memories. We got to play some old shcool DnD on the last night as well. Daisy and Memphis will go down in history here at Løfall :)

The best workawayers we had this year, we had a lot of fun with them and they worked very hard with painting, cooking very good food and fixing different things around the house. They are very creative and easy to be around. All the best for your travels!
