It was nice meeting Kumagai at the project. She shared about what she does and it was generally and epic moment.

Nicole is an amazing person! Her home is cozy, clean, and extremely well organized. If you can’t find a tool, you probably haven’t checked the labels on the boxes 😜. The projects were interesting, varied, and often made use of existing materials. We both woke up with 10 new ideas each morning, discussed them, and got to work. She gives plenty of room to bring your own ideas and be creative. Beyond the projects, I really enjoyed spending time with her, we shared meals, listened to music, laughed a lot, and had interesting conversations. I also got lucky and learned some valuable cooking tips from her! Nicole is warm, very kind, creative, and genuinely interested in others. I felt welcome from the very first moment and would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a positive, inspiring, and fun stay! Thanks Nicole🙏🏼

Amazing experience at Lilly's jungle sanctuary. The workload was very reasonable. Teaching and sharing yoga practice with guests and other volunteers amongst the lust greens felt truly magical. The team, the guests, fellow volunteers are all super lovely and warm. Bocas is a great destination with many things to explore. Thank you!!

We had an amazing time at Kiko’s. The team were so lovely and such good fun to be around. It’s a very laid back environment and we had a great time chatting with guests and team members. The work mainly involves checking in guests and keeping communal areas tidy. The shift patterns were really flexible and they put a lot of effort in to make sure we had time off to do things together. Koh Phangan is a really fun island with a great mix of parties, beaches, chilling, yoga and wellness. Our room was really comfortable, the facilities were great and it was lovely to have tea and coffee included too. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience in Koh Phangan. We hope to see you again one day soon!

I had such a wonderful week with Amelia and her animals :') such a beautiful old house and property, full of chickens, ducks (beauty and beast), kittens, cats, donkeys and Annie the dog! My job there was to paint a mural along the wall of the donkey den for the donkeys homecoming after a year of reconstruction. It was such a joyful process and Amelia allowed me full creative freedom and trusted me to bring my ideas to life. I got to see the donkeys come home after a lot of hard work and it was so rewarding. Amelia is an incredible host, full of life and stories. There's lots of action in the house but she makes you feel very warm and welcomed. This was my first Workaway experience and it was 10/10. Diego and Victoria came to join us for 12 days in October. They came to help us shut down the garden before winter and various other tasks around the property. Victoria worked in the garden clearing the old crops, preparing the soil and planting onions and garlic for the following year. Diego helped with staining wooden outbuildings, cutting hedges and cleaning terracotta tiles on the terrace. Both Diego and Victoria were fantastic guests! We had a great time together and they both worked very hard to help us complete the tasks. They came with their very well trained dog, Moab, who was also the perfect t house guest. Even though we have two cats, Moab fitted in perfectly and was no trouble at all :). We had a great experience hosting Diego and Victoria and we have no hesitation recommending them (and Moab!) to any Workaway host looking for kind, honest, hard working and polite workawayers. I spent two weeks in this beautiful Buddhist community, and it was an unforgettable experience. The place is full of respect, openness, and genuine connection. People are always happy to talk, share, and meditate together. There are several meditation sessions every day, as well as special events that create a truly magical atmosphere. The work I was assigne, helping to dismantle an old room in one of the building, was enjoyable and carried out with great attention to safety. Everything was well organized, and I always felt comfortable and appreciated. The food was abundant and delicious, with most of the ingredients coming straight from the garden. The surroundings are breathtaking: ancient trees, peaceful nature, and even deer that sometimes come close enough to watch quietly. Evenings were another highlight, gathering around the fire to sing, spending time in the sauna, or playing games together. It all created a strong sense of community and joy. It was a wonderful experience that I would happily repeat. Highly recommended to anyone looking for peace, connection, and meaningful work in a stunning natural environment. Thank you!

This was our first workaway and it was such an amazing start to our travels and workaway experience. Eli, Wim, Neils and the rest of the family are all such kind and generous people and made us feel part of the family as soon as we arrived. They showed us their ways of living off the land, we were encouraged to pick and cook with the variety of delicious vegetables from their garden and spent all our evenings sat round the kitchen table, talking, laughing or being creative. There was also of course Adan, who added such a sparkle of joy to our days here. He taught us some dutch words, despite being just a toddler. We stayed in the caravan by the allotment garden which was very cosy; waking up to hear the birds and feeling totally immersed in nature.Whilst we were staying two other workawayers were also there which just added more laughter. There were a variety of activities for us such as, chestnut and walnut picking, jam making, baking, cooking and making our own very spoons. This experience was spent feeling very present, away from our phones and immersed into family life. We didn't want to leave at the end but we sure will visit again in the future!

Keiji was an excellent workawayer!! It is not often you run a cross a person that both have an eye for what is needed, is going to happen and actually steps in and does the job. Keiji is one of those persons. He is full of energy, eager to help in any way he can, he is not shy to try on new things without prior knowledge, and in that also being a quick learner. He is good with tools, machines, pets and kids. (he became a local celebrity at school by just showing up leaving and picking up the kids and had to write autographs), and probably lots more than that, but we did not have time to find out this time. If you take him in you will have a really good time ahead of you. Hope to see you soon again Stefan

Sascha and Alix stayed for a week. They did amazing work with harvesting with the whole group. They were great guests. We shared many interesting conversations and had some really fun time. I wish them good luck and would like to host them again.

Julia stayed for a week. She was a great guest. Super funny and interesting person. We did some great work with harvesting with the whole group. It was a great experience. She is very good at working with herbs and gardening. I wish her good luck and would like to host her again.

It was a pleasant time with Lilian and Peter. Many things we did where new for both of them but they did it anyway. Eager to try new things and explore our region. Times fly when you have fun.😄

Attila was my guest for 10 days. He was very polite and nice. Also great worker. We had very good communication and the energy with rest of the group was amazing. Definitely want to host him again and do more pojects with him and hang out with him.

Toni and Manola stayed with us for 15 days and this was our first hosting experience. I can only say that this was an excellent experience all the way through. Toni and Manola were extremely well mannered and respectful, as well as very helpful and caring. They perfectly and smoothly immediately integrate with our daily life and executed with passion the chores we asked them to help with. We spent some lovely evenings enjoying meals together and chatting about life. We feel like we hosted old friends We already missed them! More than happy if they would love to come back in the future. We wish them the best of luck for their next experiences.

I'm backpacking around Europe and this was one of my best experiences so far! In addition to the wonderful place with a splendid view, the whole family is very kind and loving, I felt at home and I was very well received!

Kathrin has been a great help with the daily tasks around the farm — caring for the animals, tending the veggie beds and garden, and helping with household chores — as well as with special projects such as hoof trimming for the goats, harvesting wine grapes, replanting, indoor painting, wood cutting, and more. Beyond her hard work, she’s a genuinely kind person, always ready to help and see things through beautifully. I wish her many more wonderful experiences as a volunteer and wholeheartedly recommend her to other hosts.

It was my first Workaway experience and I couldn't have chosen better. Luc and Karin are two delightful, kind, helpful and very funny people. I spent some fantastic days in Kinrooi, surrounded by nature and in the company of their beautiful animals. I would happily come back to visit them, I will miss them very much!

Amazing Hostel! Great location, amazing guests, super friendly staff, comfortable dorms and beds. The work is enjoyable and you have plenty of free time to chill, join free yoga sessions, and meet cool people from all around the world every day. You can also get tickets and discounts for parties like the Full Moon Party, Waterfall Party or Jungle Experience. The hostel is very clean and has a chill, friendly vibe. Edgar and Fang are incredibly kind, and volunteering here truly feels like home – so much that many volunteers and guests end up extending their stay. I’m no exception, I’ve been volunteering here for over a month now! I highly recommend this place if you want to experience the real vibe of Koh Phangan — not to mention the beautiful beaches, waterfalls, sunsets, drum circles, and more.

Tom is a great host and a nice person too. I had fun helping him and it felt to me more like visiting a friend,it was very relaxed,creative,fun and peacefull atmosphere.Tom is also very flexible and very clean in communiction. Besides help,i was lucky to get to go with Tom to a few local places ,that were stunning,as the area arround Soča river is georgeous and meet few of his friends which was nice enrichement of the whole experience. I would recomend to everyone to stop by at Tom's ,if he is arround,because you will for sure have a great experience. So thank you for the nice stay and hope to see you another time.
