I really enjoyed staying at Gabrieles beautiful place in the woods. He was really kind and when I arrived, he even picked me up at another train station, because there was a cancellation. I only stayed for a few days, but it was so nice. We worked in the garden, cooked with fresh vegetables and watched the stars. He also has many animals, especially the three dogs were so cute. If you are looking for a calme place and lot's of nature, I highly recommend Gabrieles place. Thank you very much Gabriele, it was so great to meet you!

We had the joy of hosting Nikki for nearly month and a half, and she was an absolute asset to our team. Her passion for our dogs was evident in everything she did and consistently went above and beyond, looking after the dogs even outside of her working hours and taking them along to her trips on her free days. Nikki's love for all the dogs was heartwarming but Branimir was the one that stole her ♥️ so you know what to do. 😁 Nikki was a dedicated and reliable team player, never complained, and always contributed positively. We highly recommend her to any host and look forward to welcoming her back. Just a heads-up: she’s a board game champion, so you might want to keep your games hidden if you don't want to loose big time ! 😄 We truly appreciated her time with us and hope the experience was as rewarding for her as it was for us. You're welcome back always. :)

We had the pleasure of hosting Jazmin for three weeks, and she was an outstanding volunteer from day one. Jazmin brought a wonderful energy and dedication to all her tasks. She was incredibly professional in capturing beautiful photos and videos, and her love for the animals was truly palpable. Nothing was too difficult for her, and she consistently went above and beyond, even during her free time, by taking the dogs for walks and contributing in countless ways. We are so grateful for her help and look forward to welcoming her back in the future. We highly recommend Jazmin to any host!

Zsombi stayed a couple of week here and helped with various outdoor tasks. He was a conscientious worker, well able to work unsupervised. Zsombi was a considerate guest, shared the cooking, and tidied up after himself. And his English is more fluent than most Irish people!

Isabelle es una chica muy alegre y siempre muy conversadora e interesante. Nos ayudó con la limpieza en la casa y en el riego de la chacra. Fuimos a la fiesta local del pueblo y luego a una discoteca, baila genial! La recomendamos muchísimo!

Johan es un joven extraordinario, conocedor de todo, construcción y cocina, es un gran cocinero, hizo un almuerzo con camote y palta, DELICIOSO! Nos ayudó también en la limpieza de la chacra. Nos fuimos a la fiesta del pueblo con los demás voluntarios y la pasamos genial! Le deseamos lo mejor

I stayed at Erin's during the month of September and had a great time living with them. Erin is well organized and made me feel at home since the first day. The boys are really well behaved and so much fun to be around. You also get to have a good amount of free time to explore the beautiful area where they live. Would definitely recommend this experience, they are the best!

Hi 👋 I spent a week with Mr. Jos and his wife, Hiroë. They have a natural farming project. If you're currently in this profile, you're very lucky. Don't worry about anything, everything is perfect Mr. Jos is a very kind and educated person. He's more attentive to all your needs than you are. You can learn about natural farming here. 🌳🌿 Their guesthouse is much nicer than a hotel. It has everything (good kitchen, shampoo towel etc.) also in amazing forest. Mr. Jos and his wife picked us up from the subway station and took us to the supermarket before taking us home. They bought whatever food we wanted. Ms. Hiroë cooked dinner during week, cooking different dishes every day. I think I've experienced all the delicious foods of Japan. ⛩️🥢Also, the nature here is heavenly. You will need to put in some effort to support the project. Mr. Jos will guide you and he is a very good organizer. He cares about your comfort. He never put any pressure on me in terms of work. I'm grateful for your hospitality. 🙏 👏 I'll never forget this memory until I die. ..

Had a wonderful experience with Maren and Mithra and the whole crew. The work they do on the land to create a truly unique and self sufficient farm is incredible and really inspiring. I was so well taken care of during my stay, with delicious meals and wonderful company and lots of fun activities. The opportunities to work on the land and with Maren and Mithras kids was really enjoyable and rewarding. I hope to be back one day soon!

I spent 1 week at this place during September! I will truly never forget this experience and the other volunteers I met here. When I first arrived, I was completely out of my comfort zone with the remoteness of the area (you are a 30 min moto taxi ride from the nearest town), but now I'm so thankful for the experience and challenge! I learned a lot about myself, the natural world, and Peruvian culture. I was lucky to teach English in the nearby village and discover different ways of living. Thomas is a super chill dude and very accommodating and welcoming. He definitely wants you to have a great experience, and doesn't hesitate to check in on you or show you cool areas of the jungle. You have access to the kitchen in his house, as well as the kitchen in the dorm/common area, a short walk away. It is important that you have some knowledge of cooking if you want to volunteer here because the food is limited and ingredient based. We never went hungry, but spent a lot of time cooking and coming up with creative meal ideas. If bugs scare you, this is not the place for you. Bring a lot of bug spray or you will get eaten alive at night. Sometimes the bugs chewed holes in my clothes when hanging on the clothesline. In terms of fitness classes, I think there may have been a slight miscommunication about what to expect because I didn't realize I signed up to be a fitness class leader for Thomas and the other volunteers until I arrived. I thought it was a center that provided regular fitness for guests with hired instructors, whom I would be assisting. Maybe I misinterpreted the profile, but I was definitely confused when I got there. Leading fitness classes are low stakes and super chill, but come prepared to lead something, because I didn't. The best part of the whole experience was becoming best friends with the other volunteers! I recommend the place to anyone who is a true fan of the outdoors and wants to challenge themselves.

I stayed at the shelter for 6 weeks in april and May and it was an amazing experience. The first few days were a little bit overwhelming, but I quickly got into a routine. Thomas and Diamanto were always very kind and Diamanto always made wonderful food for us. I loved working with the animals and getting to know the dogs and goats.

I had a unique experience. I loved immersing myself in everyday life on the farm and sharing moments with the neighbours. The place, the people, everything is authentic. Thank you so much, Marcin, for your time and for sharing such wonderful moments with me. I hope we can see each other again soon. A big hug to the whole family.

The house still feels empty after Jose's departure. Jose is an incredibly kind, humble, and exceptionally likable guy. He has great skills and is very knowledgeable about all the tasks on the farm. He has a fantastic rapport with the animals and is very responsible. I’m at a loss for words to describe how great of a workawayer he is. He spent a month with me, and it was an extraordinary month; we became really good friends, and I hope he comes back.

Maxime is a marvellous young men. You can be glad to have him at your place. He is extremely motivated and curious to learn new things and he does all tasks with a lot of joy, interest and care. Also taking care of all common spaces is a matter of course and he is always there when you need a helping hand. Maxime is very responsible and mature for his young age and we had a lot of beautiful and interesting conversations. He is also a good teamplayer and loves and respects his human companians as much as animals. It was a great pleasure to have him on our Finca and we really hope to see him again!

Malsor, Bora and their family were so welcoming. We stayed with them for a month at the hotel in Prizren, instead of the hostel. Meaning we could use the swimming pool next door everyday! Our work consisted of check ins/outs, cleaning the rooms and assisting to guests needs. Outside of work we would go down to the old town, have some beers on the roof with everyone or visit local football games. Malsor and Boro are so lovely and we would truly consider them as our friends:)

Kian and Jen are amazing, they always have energy and always show a smile. They helped me so much during 3 weeks and I couldn’t be more thankful. All the students loved their classes as they were super fun and engaging. We tried some local food and also went to pailon del diablo, a super rainy evening, but we had a great time. I recommend working with Jen and Kian, you will have a great time and they will spread their enthusiasm and good vibes 😎. Thank you guys so much and enjoy the lovely Galapagos ❤️

Ren and Ruth are such an amazing couple, we had a great time together. The students really liked them. The students were going back to school and work after vacations so they had to get their things together and sometimes didn’t show up for classes. We went to places in town to try traditional food and had interesting conversations about England and cultures. Thank you for everything, I highly recommend working with Ruth and Ren so much fun☀️🫶
