I had wonderful time in the centre! Surrounding nature is healing by itself, yoga and meditation practice is a great bonus though . The community of volunteers and retreats participants was really enriching and fun. I was challenged by the mindset “go with the flow” in every aspect but it was a perfect recharging and rerouting after living a busy business life. It is a great opportunity for all open minded people to learn more about themselves and create really meaningful connections.

I had such a great time at Bee and Soy's home. they welcomed us with an open and kind heart. they shared their home and experiences with us, I'm so touched by how they keep living in a traditional Mongolian way. they have such pure hearts and I've learnt so much from both Bee and Soy about the Mongolian culture and food. thank you for the gift, the knowledge you share with us, all the wishes and caring for us. I can't say more thanks but to hope that we would meet again. keep in touch!

Hosting Amelia was a pleasure. She got along well with everyone, was easy to talk with, and was great with the school children. It's was enjoyable taking part in the morning stretching sessions which she led as well. I'd definitely recommend Amelia to other projects out there.

We are truly grateful to have been hosted by the beautiful and lovely family of Sophie and Grecco in Valladolid, Yucatan, Mexico ! 🕍 If your desire is to explore Yucatan 🌅while taking your time to meet local and great people, this volunteering is for you. Plus : if you love playing games ....... Do not think it twice and just go now ✈️ !! We had so much fun playing at games at night with Sophie and Grecco, they have almost all of the best board games that I know ! 🎡 For lunch 🌯, mamita is the chef and she cooks delicious traditional Mexican meals from her birth town. It is the best restaurant🥗 of all Yucatan! About the daily tasks 🏗, we helped with a good cleaning of the whole house and gardens🛖, and we painted Sophie's office 🎨which was a very rewarding job preparing us to our own future and learning more about painting skills🖼 !!! We stayed two weeks and did not get bored anytime🎭 ! In the surroundings, you will be able to visit the Mayan Pyramids (Chichen Itza, Ek Balam...🏜) and the wonderful cenotes: two are inside Valladolid🏞 !!!!! The beach and islands are also very close (between 1 and 2 hours with the ADO bus 🏝) ... To sum up: just go and enjoy your Mexican adventure !!! 🗺🧭🎠

Joana and Tiago volunteered at our family farm for 2 weeks. They were a great help, reliable and dependable. They enjoyed cooking their own meals and many times shared with us some wonderful vegetarian dishes. They also made use many of the herbs and vegetables around the farm and creating many natural flavored dishes. It was a wonderful experience hosting them and we will meet again sometime in the future.

They were a wonderful family who always made me feel at home and part of the family. They included me with their friends as well and guided me when I took trips to nearby areas by train. I had privacy when I needed it as well having my own space including bathroom which I appreciated. And I developed a bond too with the nonna who was an excellent cook and friend. Francesco was very informative and passionate about life and Daniella was like a friend I've known forever! I provided a little ordinary help with chores such as setting the table or vacuuming and walking their friendly dog. They watched out for me and my needs. I appreciated that very much. The kids speak a combo of English and their native Italian so it was always interesting. I learned a lot and sincerely hope they got value from my time there as well. Again very grateful for experience in this beautiful region with this amazing family.

I only spent five October days with Christine, but it seemed to be a much longer period of time, due to many new experiences I had and things that I've learned. It was a good beginning to my Workaway adventure. There are many tasks to finish in the garden and Christine has a lot of projects planned, so be ready for active contribution. It sure is demanding, so think about it first. Among some of my tasks were: preparing a new flower bed, digging out weeds, harvesting beans, watering in the greenhouse and using wood branch chipper. There's not much to do in Dalby, but it's a great location if you want to explore Lund or Malmo. I'm grateful for the stories Christine shared with me and tasty meals she prepared. A memory that will stay with me for a longer time is our small mushroom excursion to a nearby forest - it was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to! And also, as a birdwatcher I was amazed to see robins, tits and blackbirds in the garden every morning. Overall, it was an enriching experience, but there are so many tasks to do, that it can be challenging to find balance between volunteering and having time for yourself - so be aware of that. I was very happy to stay with the whole family, they are very lovely, open and caring people. I felt very welcome soon even came back a second time. The schedule was very flexible and the work could be easily done. I really enjoyed spending time with the kids but also with Dan and Sarah. We had good conversations and in all i had a really good time. It was a wonderful experience and I hope we’ll see each other again.

We stayed 10 days with Jack, Jo, and Ana, and it was truly an amazing experience. We had the opportunity to take part in the October olive harvest, which was the main task during our stay. Jack and Jo were always clear about our duties, friendly, and available whenever we had any questions. We used to eat all together — Jo and Ana are high level cooks! The rooms were clean and spacious, exactly as described on their Workaway profile. The area around the house is beautiful — perfect if you enjoy walking or spending time in nature. In conclusion, all of us are very happy with this experience. Most importantly, the people who welcomed and guided us during those days are truly lovable. We will never forget our time there! A big thank you again to Jack, Jo, and Ana ❤️

Olive and Kristian were wonderful to host. They were very easy to get along with and made a genuine effort to be part of our daily lives. They were both great at helping around the house (without being asked) and always had extra energy to play with the kids. As workers, they excelled. They followed through on their tasks diligently and used good judgment whenever I was unavailable to help. They maintained a high standard right through to the end of their stay. They always did what they said they would — and they always did it well. Overall, they are excellent workers and delightful people who are always welcome back to my home.

Federica e Didier sono stati la nostra prima esperienza Workaway e non potevamo chiedere di meglio!! Li abbiamo aiutati a fare dei lavori nella casa in montagna e preso parte al bellissimo progetto artistico di Federica. Il luogo è magnifico; Fede e Didier sono due persone splendide, gentili e piene di idee e ci hanno fatte sentire subito a casa. Sono stati inoltre molto disponibili nel consigliarci attività da fare nei dintorni: bellissime passeggiate e luoghi da scoprire. Speriamo di ritornare presto!! PS: hanno un bellissimo cane ;-)

After a couple of very busy weeks since finishing my volunteering at Tita’s house, I can finally write something about my experience. Before traveling to Tra Vinh, some people from Saigon asked me why I was going there — they said there wasn’t much to see and it wasn’t very touristic. Honestly, I went with a bit of doubt. But once I arrived, I realized it was exactly what I was looking for: a genuine experience living Vietnamese culture. I was warmly welcomed, the place is beautiful, and the café they had opened just a month before is honestly one of the best cafés I’ve ever been to. Its name couldn’t be more fitting it’s exactly what I found there: peace, quiet, and time for myself to think and reflect on everything that had happened lately. The food was absolutely amazing — special mention to the cook! Every day I ate a lot and everything was delicious. The tasks were not difficult at all, and it was actually enjoyable sweeping the place while listening to good music. The small library full of books created the perfect atmosphere to sit for hours. I even re-read The Lord of the Rings trilogy there. In short, I completely recommend this volunteering experience. The people are incredibly kind, the place is beautiful and peaceful, and it’s always fun going out to buy something and having kids greet you or people look at you curiously — apparently, there aren’t many foreigners around that area. I really hope to come back someday, maybe as a tourist, but it’s definitely a place I’d love to show to my friends and family.

If you want to experience real rural life, this is your chance! Julien is a friendly host and will have some nice jobs that need to be done. We repaired some parts of the street and protected trees with covers. We met some neighbors and had some time for ourselves. Overall a great experience.

she came for a short weekend and we had a really good time, good talks, walks, bath in the natural pool (only she, because it is to cold for us) and YES she did also a very good job in the garden.

Wow, i had such a great time both on the property working as well as exploring outside of it. The nature is beautiful most of the time and the people are friendly and loving almost wherever you go, the food is great too and there are ripe fruits all over the place. When i arrived julia picked me up and brought me to a jerk spot when i mentioned i came to become a better cook, she thinks of her workers although i felt more like a welcomed guest. The work is mostly done together and she is really easy with planning the "shifts", she also cares a lot for her animals, both horses dogs and Xavier the turtle. Its a lot of fun and the people who you work with are great too, both from workaway and the locals. Its basically all good vibes and the freedom feels great you are trusted and she isnt constantly watching over your shoulders, i would definitely recommend her to anyone visiting jamaica especially if you're on the north coast. I stayed for 3 weeks and didnt regret a day of it!

Thank you! Thank you! I spent 2 weeks in Frome in September and I can’t sing Dakota praises enough. She is a nice, kind, open hearted and toughtful host. It was my first workaway experience and Dakota and Drew made me feel immediately at home. The house + garden are really a lovely and healing place. Frome is a lively and interesting town, Bath, Bristol, Salisbury and other interesting towns can be easily reached by train or by bus. The countryside is beautiful for walking around. We stayed with Steve for five days and had a wonderful time. He lives in a spacious warm home with his pets Chester, Maggie and Mala, all of whom were given snuggles and belly rubs. Steve mainly needed help with preparing meals and in the garden where we did weeding. We also walked the dogs twice a day. Since Steve had fallen ill when we arrived, we also made honey lemon sage drink for him. Despite being unwell, Steve still made the effort to bring us out and acted as our tour guide. He showed us around Whanganui and shared its history with us, and brought us to beaches with the dogs. Thank you so much Steve for your kindness and we hope you've seen your doctor and you're feeling better now!
