Sarah stayed with us for a couple of weeks and it has been a great experience: wonderful worker, always ready to help, patient, good eye for details and to learn just watching, and excellent conversation about anything, always with a smile. So if you have the option to host her, don't doubt it, host her! Thanks a lot Sarah for everything; we hope we will meet again in the future.

Rumy und Michael waren tolle erste Hosts für unsere Reise. Die Arbeit war interessant und man konnte viel lernen. Sie haben sich sehr bemüht, dass es uns gut geht, und wir hatten eine inspirierende und schöne Zeit in Slowenien bei ihnen. danke euch für die schöne Zeit! :)

My first workaway experience has been simply fantastic with Rosie, Christian and their 4 fabulous dogs! Since the moment I arrived they welcomed me with lots of enthusiasm and kindness. I ve been with them only 2 weeks but I wished I stayed much longer. They provided me with a large and cozy bedroom and private bathroom, always delicious and tasty food, but first of all plenty of good moments in which we shared nice conversations, smiles, ideas and suggestions. The working time was absolutely reasonable, just 5 hours per day, with 2 free days per week. During the work they taught me a lot of things, were always patient and ready to show me again what i didn't understand. During My free time I visited a bit the surrounding area, really gorgeous, also thanks to the bike the could give me. To be honest saying goodbye has been very hard for me after such great experience. Really hope to see you again and once again thank you with all My heart for everything you did for me.

Our time with Robin was amazing! Working with him was fun and easy, and he really made sure we had a great time. He showed us the real life in Montenegro and even took us on some nice trips. We felt very welcome and had a lot of good conversations and laughs. Thanks again, Robin!

Manouk and Jesse are the perfect workaway couple: hardworking, skilled, thoughtful and fun. They stayed with us for about a week and we had a wonderful time together. They are lovely people and we enjoyed our conversations very much. Working with them was amazing and we got so much done on our land and in the garden. Thank you so much, Manouk and Jesse, for all your hard work and for being such great company!

I was very happy to have Hella in the house! She is really open hearted, very easy to connect with, friendly, polite, flexible, communicative and willing to help. She was able to keep herself busy during the day with work, she could do her job independently. Also we could have some fun and have interesting conversations and nice, peaceful time together. I would recommend her to any workaway hosts and she is welcome back any time.

Ginevra is a beautiful and generous being, and we are happy to call her our friend. From the first moment we arrived, she made us feel right at home. She gave us the freedom and trust to manage our own schedule, and the few tasks were always a pleasure to do. She took us to visit some beautiful places around and hang out with her friends. As a bonus, her parents and child (and her dog, Quinoa) were also so welcoming. This was such a great experience, and we are very grateful to have had the chance to spend a month with them in this little slice of heaven.

Thanks for the wonderful experience! I am grateful for the time we spent together with the host, the other workawayers and the animals. Vin is a reliable and generous person, that inspires trust. He also was considerate of my gluten sensitivities(in Sicily that is) and generally I felt comfortable around his presence. His 4 cats and the playful doggo(who even eats jasmine flowers) were absolute fun to be around and cuddle! He also has a snake! I spent 3 weeks harvesting olive oil, which was quite exhausting work and we worked more than 5 hours, but it was satisfying and we always had food. Vin tried to give us a different taste of Sicily and on my birthday we went out for a nice dinner in Palermo. With the other workaways was also nice and we had the chance to go on lil trips with his car, enjoying the beach (and gelato). Grazie mille caro Vin and a presto!🏄‍♂️

Clement was an exceptional workaway. Very easy going and a pleasure to host. Clement showed initiative with every project and he even found things to do that we did not even think about. He worked over and above what was expected and as time was running out he worked till late a good few nights because he said he did not want to leave projects unfinished. Clement is an animal person who spent alot of time cuddling our animals. Everywhere we went he would stop to pet dogs. We loved having him and we were sad to see him go. Maya was an absolute pleasure to host! She approached every task with an open heart and a positive attitude. From gardening to general maintenance, she took on each job with care and enthusiasm. Her friendly nature made her wonderful company — always bringing warmth and good energy to the place. We truly appreciated her contribution and her lovely personality. Wishing her all the best on her next adventures — she’ll be a great addition anywhere she goes!

Kinga is a five star volunteer and we have had an excellent experience with her. She has work ethics and she contributide with a light and positive energy. We hope to meet her again in the future. Anto & team

Sharing this workaway experience with Maria, her family and friends has been a complete gift. My partner and I stayed almost a month at hes place and we appreciate for all the knowledge that Maria shared with us about herbalism, natural medicine and even Greek classes! The tasks to perform were varied but above all, it was to keep in good shape her vast garden and pamper their pets, at that time there were some kittens recently born. In our free time, we enjoyed spending so much time on the property as the ocean view is stunning and you don’t need anything more than that! we also walked around the mountain or towards the beach, (there are two beautiful beaches nearby to stay all day.) I hope we meet again dear Maria!

I had a great time here! Mauro and Yose are very patient and always gave us different tasks. I felt very welcome and taken care of, we were provided with a lot of food and amazing homemade bread! It can become pretty cold when it's not summer, so bring some warm clothes. Villa Meliquina is absolutely stunning with the lake, river and mountains. Muy bien experiencia! Mauro y Yose son muy pacientes y siempre nos daban tareas diferentes. Me sentí muy bien acogida y cuidada, nos daban mucha comida y un pan casero increíble! Puede hacer bastante frío cuando no es verano, así que lleva ropa de abrigo. Villa Meliquina es absolutamente impresionante con el lago, río y las montañas.

Anna was an excellent helper in every way. She has lots of experience of looking after horses so I didn't have to teach her anything about horse care, just my particular routine. She was happy to do any task I gave her, and always did a good job. She sometimes felt a bit intimidated when grooming Eanna, who can look very threatening, but she managed him very well. She rode him a few times after he had a long break from being ridden, which was challenging! He is hypersensitive to leg contact and tended to rush off, so mostly she helped while I rode sedately in walk :) Her English is excellent, so there were no problems in communication. She is strong, capable, willing and a lovely person just to spend time with. I really enjoyed the time she was here and I would welcome her back any time. I can definitely recommend her to other hosts, especially for looking after horses.

What a gem of a human! Wow, Achille is the best, his calm gentile nature and is so easy going. We were really inspired by how positive and generous he is. I would like to walk more like this through life. He has an incredible work ethic we were really happy when he decided to stay longer and would welcome him back anytime

Staying with this wonderful family was such a heartwarming experience! They made me feel welcome from the very start and the house was filled with kindness and the joyful energy of the kids. It was a joy working on English with the children. Sweet little Alp was so enthusiastic to learn and such a quick learner I must add! The amazing view from their garden was incredibly relaxing, especially with their lovely dog Tarchin being in the picture. We had some interesting and insightful chats whilst cracking hazelnuts one night which the children took part in too :) Their organic produce and homemade Turkish food that Sinem made was a gorgeous bonus! Thank you for your warmth, generosity, and the beautiful memories Enes, Sinem, Bala and Alp 🩷

ELI est resté à peu près une huitaine de jour chez nous et tout s’est très bien passé car Eli a de bonnes capacités d’adaptation ; il parle très bien le français ! Il a décapé et entretenu une vieille fenêtre, préparé le terrain et planté ails et oignons, ramassé feuilles mortes et géré le compost. Le temps étant pluvieux nous avons alors mené des travaux de nettoyage à l’intérieur, malgré tout nous avons pu faire quelques découvertes en vélo ; on a pu apprécier chez Eli sa gentillesse, sa bonne humeur sa bonne volonté et son implication dans les différents travaux qu’il a mené

I had a great time in Rethymno with Karl! The olive farm is in a beautiful location and the journey there felt like a paid tour! The work was varied and chilled. The guesthouse is close to the town and the beach. Karl is generous and we had some really interesting conversations, I wish I could have stayed longer! :)

We're so grateful we had the opportunity to volunteer. The whole team, and especially the wonderful Alfredo, went above and beyond to offer an amazing volunteering experience. We learned so much from the students about Popayán, Cauca, the history, and the ongoing projects for peace in the region. Popayán is a fun, active city with something for everyone and excellent food too. Everything the organization does is about forming and supporting community, and we were so happy to be part of their excellent mission if only for a short time. If you're looking for a place filled with amazing humans, to get to know Colombian culture directly from the source, this is an excellent opportunity. We can't wait to come back!

Gitta was only one week on my little farm, but it was a wonderful week , I got a new friend, she was always in a good mood, always she thought ,what should be done and especialy she liked it to take care of the horses, and always there was time for a joke and for laughing. I hope she will come to visit me when she comes back to Finland
