When Floriane and Camille arrived at my place I was so pleased to see them, and when they left I felt extremely grateful to have hosted them for nearly 3 weeks. They are both so open, honest, friendly and smart individuals with a deep interest in nature and ensuring she is cared for. They tended to my animals with so much love and patience. They started maintenance on our mud hut and they were not deterred by the challenge one bit!! The world is a better place with Camille and Floriane around, if you get the opportunity to meet them you to be forever grateful, like me. The list of jobs they completed almost doesn't end in the time they stayed! They were also both so fun with my kids too. The joy and passion for life that Camille and Floriane exude, is contagious. Peace, love and light my friends. Love Tory, Loki, Nikko, Basil, Benji and Juni.

Josiah est une personne calme et réservée qui s'est montrée respectueuse de nos habitudes et de notre façon de vivre. Il s'est facilement intégré même si les échanges ont été un peu limités du fait de la barrière des langues. Les deux semaines passées à jardiner et nettoyer ne lui ont pas posé de problèmes. Josiah, merci pour l'aide apportée. Bonne continuation!

I spent a week at Aleksandar’s place. We worked on renovating an apartment in Oslo. It was great. Most of the time, we started the work in the afternoons, which never lasted more than a few hours. I had plenty of free time to explore the city and to hang out with Aleksandar’s son. Meals were provided. As for Aleksandar himself, he is a wonderful person and father who is happy to accommodate anyone. Even though he had his responsibilities with his child and work, he always made an effort to spend time communicating and preparing lunches and dinners, which I really have to praise. I highly recommend him to all workawayers!

Alberica, Giorgio, Filippo and Ema are a wonderful family and absolutely my favorite host ever. They made me feel like part of their family and allowed me to travel throughout Italy with them. They were always thoughtful and usually flexible, and generally made space for me to be myself and have my own adventures. I was especially grateful for so many opportunities to share my cooking with them. Ema is a hilarious and willful force of nature who loves music and is starting to make progress in his English. He still benefits from, and sometimes relies on, translations to add to his vocabulary. Ema requires a strategy to keep him motivated for learning and is not yet confident in the English he does have, but he is making strides. Filippo is a wonderfully thoughtful and naturally curious person who is highly motivated to learn English and has the proficiency to refine his grammar and the nuances of the language using English alone. Alberica and Georgio are very kind, organized and patient, and welcomed me into their family with open arms. I can’t wait to see them again. If you enjoy kids, are a responsible and thoughtful person, and want to have a wonderful Italian cultural experience in Milan, I can’t recommend this family highly enough. Grazie per tutto.

Great people, Great place. only my second workaway experiance and I'm glad we went. met some really nice folk and hope to return again someday when there is a bit more work to complete as me and the kids really enjoyed. thanks kaca and nenad for a good experiance 😊

Elle m'a accueillie à un moment compliqué de ma vie, et je la remercie encore de sa patience, ainsi que de son écoute. J'ai passé un très bon séjour en sa compagnie, ainsi que de ses animaux dans son lieu qui est très joli et très apaisant. Je me suis attachée à ses animaux, mais surtout à Rais avec qui je suis allée souvent me promener, et donc découvrir le coin qui est très charmant. On a eu des moments très sympathiques, des conversations intéressantes, de partages et j'ai eu l'occasion de rencontrer du monde. Merci encore de ta sympathie, ton écoute et de ton hospitalité !

Daria was here for a month and was a huge help both in the house and barn. She washed windows, cooked meals, mucked out stables and was happy to try her hand at anything I threw at her! She is friendly and fun to have around and would be welcome back anytime.

I spent 2 weeks here start of october. Franz and Florian was very nice and hostely. Sadly Florian has an injury on his knee so he can't work. And I cared about sheep and chickens during the afternoon plus the work on the morning so during the work day I didn't really has free time to explore around the farm. We didn't really ate together because of the injury.. but they almost bought what I want and I cooked for myself for the dinner. And Florian was always attentive and thanks for that. Sadly the weather was a bit cold but the vegetables are soo good ! I never ate tomatoes like this !! thanks for your hospitality 😊

I stayed at the ranch for 5 weeks and had the best time. Danica and Ken are the most lovely and kind people, and made me feel so welcomed in their home. Bernie and Isobel were also lovely and it was great to meet all the other workaways on the farm. The workload was very reasonable and we had heaps of time to relax or go on walks in the afternoons. The work itself was easy, consisting of clearing wood in the forest and burning off, putting away things for winter and of course, hanging out with Tilly and all the dogs. The food was amazing, every meal was home cooked and delicious. I never went hungry and got to try lots of different meals even some with the bison meat. The accommodation was comfortable and warm which was nice too. I had such a good time at the ranch and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic farm stay. I’m sad to leave but very thankful for the opportunity to stay at your ranch.

Simply perfect since her first experience as a volunteer. First of all, Marian is the sister I've never had, very close to my artistic sensibility, very generous, delicate, authentic and incredibly intelligent. I have received help in several different ways because she is incredibly talented. From pleasant, non-trivial conversation to minor maintenance tasks, from event planning to a ceramics workshop. She's capable of doing it all. She offers the best company imaginable. Always welcome Marian, whenever you want

JOE is a very nice young man and was a good experience to host him. We wish he could have stayed longer. We do recommend him . Gina and Jose

It was my first workaway experience and I really enjoyed it! Everyone was super nice and it was always fun. Catherine had everything very well organized so everything was clear from the start. I really liked working with Wouter, even though the work was sometimes heavy and it was a bit hard for me to understand the language, he was always kind, patient, and sometimes even he was dancing haha , which was really funny. I also loved the board games and the never ending puzzles we did together :) So happy I met you all and could share a bit about my country and culture . I really enjoyed our talks!

Andrea was an extraordinary helper. As soon as she arrived, she fit right in. Before she came, we spoke on the phone, and she was so confident about fitting in that I had no doubts about welcoming her. She’s the perfect combination of a mature, experienced woman with a young and outgoing spirit. She’s hardworking and responsible, but she also knows how to have fun. I wish all helpers were at least a little like her. We truly felt her departure, because to me, she’s a great example of what it means to be a helper. I can’t wait to see you again, but we both know we’ll always stay in touch—thanks to the music. Some helpers become like family and friends because the quality time spent with them makes them part of us, and she is one of them. Muchos besos, Andrea.

Greg was a fab addition to the team! He helped out in our big construction project. He supported the lead builders with insulation, vapour barrier, framing etc. He always said yes to every task and had a very relaxed attitude. He made us delicious meals as part of our routine tasks, and always cleaned up the communal thoroughly. He is super kind and hardworking. I’d totally host Greg again!

Yay Tobyn! He is such a gem. He is thoughtful, hardworking and very creative! He helped out in all areas of my projects - he was always very willing to take on any new task. He loved to chop wood! He helped out with all of the house tasks and cooking dinner, and was a pleasure to spend time with. He’s a great guy and plays and sings guitar beautifully. I hope to host him again!

Phillip was fab. He helped me install some new lighting systems and also was supportive in the construction project. He was kind, calm, and cool to be around! He is smart, thoughtful and generous. He made us delicious meals and LOVES to bake cookies and make fresh pasta. We were very lucky to have him. Come back Phillip!

Hanna and I spent about a month with this lovely family and really enjoyed our time there. At the time we arrived, Baby Michael was only born a few weeks ago, so there was a lot going on. It's a big change, especially for the kids! I was so happy we could help Máire and Declan :) Usually we would help with breakfast and getting the kids ready, then do some household chores. We cooked dinner twice a week and in the evenings we cleaned up after dinner and played with Marianne until she went to bed. It was more work than I expected but it felt good to know that I was helping them a lot. It took me a while to get used to living with little children because I had never experienced that before. After a while we got into a good rythm and I started enjoying playing with the kids a lot more. I will definitely miss Florence, Marianne and Michael💞 Children can teach you a lot! I learned a lot about how to take care of little kids and I am grateful for that experience. And I was so happy to witness them growing up a little bit even in just a month. Florence learning lots of new words and how to use the potty, Marianne being a big sister and making lovely art and Michael growing faster than I could ever imagine! If you love kids this is just the right place for you! The whole family really sticks together. We met all of the grandparents and Declans sister Rosie with her two boys and they all help eachother out a lot. Everyone was so lovely and welcoming to us! Rosie also kindly let us stay at her house in Ennis for a weekend. Thank you again for everything!

I don’t know what more to say other than max and Judit are ALL STARS. They ran my restaurant and resort like efficient wizards. They were so kind, personable, and were always willing to take on new challenges. They handle stress very well and they are very collaborative. They are beautiful human beings and they will do everything with meaning and deep intention. They worked over full time hours for me for 3 months - it was very busy and stressful but they did so well! They had such a great attitude. I’d love to host them again!! Thanks guys!!

Wilfried war uns eine grosse Hilfe und eine sehr angenehme Gesellschaft! Er arbeitet selbständig und sorgfältig und kann wunderbar mit Tieren und Kinder umgehen. Wir haben uns auch über seine koch und back Künste sehr gefreut! Ich empfehle ihn jeden Host weiter und hoffe ihn wieder zu besuch bei mir zu haben. Für jede Gemeinschaft ist er ein plus! Wilfried ich wünsche dir schöne Reisen und komm gerne wieder vorbei! Wir vermissen dich schon ein wenig😊
