It's a real pleasure to be part of the Workaway community, especially when I host wonderful volunteers like Janik and Camila. They did a lot for the whole property, especially for the animals they cared for. They prepared the wood, cut the grass, repaired the fence, cleaned the area where the animals live, prepared wonderful food, in a word, they did their best to support me in everything. I look forward to our new meeting and wish you all the best!

Mélissa was full of energy and joy! She had fun doing all kinds of things, jumping from one to another all the day, it was hard to stop her (talking too! 😄). I enjoyed a lot this exchange, loads of things have been done, and it was harvesting time... Have fun around the world and see you soon 🌈

Fue una experiencia muy agradable, Lahcen y todo su equipo son muy excelentes anfitriones, tiene una familia 100% hospitalaria y amable. Pase 1 mes con ellos y me sentí en familia, me quedo con muy buenos y lindos recuerdos, recomiendo que visiten esta parte del Sáhara Occidental es mágico. Sus estudiantes tienen muchas ganas de aprender y compartir su cultura. Gracias por recibirme Lahcen.

This place is hard to describe, because it’s more of a feeling, it just feels right. You can sense the genuine warmth and generosity from Cosku, Ahmet and the whole staff. It’s a beautiful hostel where memories are pinned on the wall, and guests leave their mark. People come and go, some return, some stay longer, and after a while it really felt like a home to me. I could go out and explore Izmir (a special city, you don’t ever want to leave…well I didn’t want to leave haha) meanwhile Cosku gave me real responsibilities in the hostel, and the staff made me feel like part of the team. I felt...integrated, and for that I am so grateful. Farmer’s market day is also the absolute best. Tamam, sonra görüşürüz <3

Enni is such a wonderful, outgoing, and kind person. It was an absolute pleasure to have her with us! She brought positive energy to every part of the hotel — from helping at reception and serving breakfast to keeping the rooms spotless. Enni was always on time, happy to help, and ready to step in whenever someone was unwell. We’re so grateful for all her help and the joy she brought to our team. We wish her all the very best for the future and truly hope to see her again one day! 💛

I don't know why I still haven't let a review here! So many incredible and magic times there with beautiful teams, in total I spent, I guess, 10 months there! It fully changed my life! Full of love and light on you beautiful duendes team. I'll be back one day. ❤️

Laura was my first host and workaway experience and I am very glad she was because she welcomed me with open arms and i had an amazing time with her and Plum. Laura is a very caring person, she always made sure that it was warm in the house and the oven is still running, and we shared a lot of food and conversations. We worked in the garden together and i helped her with some maintenance in the house, we also went shopping to the local farmers market in Rivergaro, grabbed coffee and Laura showed me around the town. I learned how to do authentic italian pasta with Laura and she is an amazing cook. We usually had lunch and dinner together. The house and the garden are amazing, great for the dogs to play, also. Lauras dog plum is such a sweet and kind dog, with other people and also with dogs. I brought my dog Enya, who is sometimes a bit scared but she immediately bonded with Laura and Plum. Overall Laura was an exceptional host, very energetic, generous, and hospitable and I felt very at home at her place. Thank you for everything Laura and i hope well meet again!!

Des magnifiques moments partagés avec cette équipe incroyable, hyper pédagogue! La base est magnifique, à côté du saut Maripa, idéal pour posé sont hamac si on veux encore plus de tranquillité! On y est bien, on y mange bien, on y apprend beaucoup, des animaux adorables! Une expérience inoubliable! Merci à vous l'équipe c'était ouf!

We were both new to Workaway, and after exchanging messages and having a video call, we decided to give it a try. Jana and her son are quiet and respectful. They completed the tasks we agreed on and were easy to communicate with.

Des moments passés mémorables! Kamal et Sarah sont très attentionnés, généreux et agréable! Un camp magnifique, leurs enfants Blanche, Marco et Pimento sont adorables (il s'agit bien de chiens et d'un chat). Bref des moments de légèreté et avec parfois quand même un peu de travail, mais toujours avec une équipe incroyable et pleine d'humour! On se sent tout de suite à la maison! Merci à Nathan pour les bons petits plats! Merci à vous tous c'était vraiment génial. A tout bientôt ❤️

Zara and Alex are a wonderful couple.. they were always ready to help out in the farm. They carried out the daily routine of feeding the later hens, the free ranging chicken and the ducks , as well as cleaning the coops ensuring the animals are well cared for. They did a splendid job mowing the lawns and keeping them neat and trim. Zara and Alex enjoyed cooking their meals, using some ingredients from around the farm. It was a pleasure having them both and we hope we will meet again one day. Happy travels to both of you..!

It was a nice experience Prashant teach me a lot of things about Indian culture, yoga, and cooking. We spent hours to talk and he gave me all freesom to create 2 murals. The only think is Indian people and western citizzn don't have the same definition of quiet place 😂😂😂 Thank you to him for his welcome. Highly recommended

My experience of working with Peter was amazing. The project is such a good cause. I was asked to clear the outdoor space in the mornings and was always relieved from my duties in time for a shower before eating lunch. The teaching is fun, all materials are prepared and the students are super friendly and enthusiastic. Peter invited me in and welcomed me as if I was his own family. Thank you for such a positive first-time WorkAway experience.

We spent two weeks with Nicola and Mike and loved staying here! They made us feel at home and introduced us to unique Czech traditions and things to do around the area. We even went to a Czech hockey game and lots of cool walks with their teddy bear-like dogs! The work was also rewarding and fun to do, such as gardening, helping with the animals and building a bridge. We also took turns cooking food for each other, which was fun sharing different recipes and cultures (and delicious!). We will always remember our time here and would highly suggest staying here!

Un super séjour chez Sylvain et sa famille ! J'ai été chaleureusement accueilli par tout le monde, Sylvain a été très réactif et tout s'est bien passé. Malik, leur enfant, est patient et persévérant, ce fut un plaisir de l'accompagner. Une expérience très chouette au global ! Un grand merci à toutes et tous pour votre accueil 🙏

Milo integrated into our farm flawlessly and was hands-on from the moment he arrived. He completed a variety of tasks from our farm's to-do list, as well as intuitively assisting with tasks without being asked. All round, his work ethic and discipline to finish a task stood out. The month he stayed with us felt too short. 10/10 experience having him here and 20/10 for his coffee! Thank you for your outstanding work and we hope to meet again.

Excellent experience in every way - Alex is good company and responsible as well . He took special care with everything here in our home. He's a very friendly guy & interesting to know & chat with . We can recommend him 100 % without concern & we would welcome him back .

My time here was full of magic, nature, beauty, community and quality life. It is a wonderful place to connect to the earth and oneself. I've arrived with the intention to stay 2 weeks and ended up staying 2.5 months!. I loved it. !! Few times I was set to continue my travels but couldn't leave this magical place. The family and community that live and take care of this unique place became my family for that time and I felt welcomed and loved. We share very special moments during my stay. The nature around and the flow of the days allowed me to connect deeper to myself and to Pachamama, our Mother Earth. I really appreciate Diego's drive and commitment to keep the vision of a better world and a better life that this place nourish and sustain. Majo was like a dear sister for me in these 2 months and I felt at home from the moment I arrived. The place offer a unique experience, emerged in nature with all the comfort the one needs. Hot water on demand, amazing wifi, great food and freedom that feels so special in this crazy fast moving world. I left with a lot of love in my heart to the people and the place, I would definitely come back. GRACIAS!!

Natália and Arlindo are an incredibly kind and understanding couple who welcomed me into their home with great food and great discussion. As my first ever workaway, and first trip outside of the country, the slow pace of life with Natália and Arlindo made the adjustment much easier than I thought. The work in the house and the garden was not hard, but calming and rewarding. Also Mel, their cute little ginger dog , and their old kitty are both very sweet. Arlindo and Natália often took me to the beach and into town to show me around. There were trips to the river with Mel, trips to pastelarias, and a trip to the Portimao art and history museum. Discussions at lunch were about art, language, culture, and history. My stay went by very fast and I was sad to leave. I could not have asked for better hosts. Obrigada por tudo!
