We spent two weeks in Condobolin and really enjoyed our time there. Communication was easy, and we felt welcome from the beginning. The farm work gave us a good insight into everyday life in the Australian countryside. Thanks for having us!

I loved staying with Sheryl and Andrew, I was so welcomed into their home. The work was varied, we did lots of house alterations and also farm work. Both Sheryl and Andrew were kind and generous, and made me feel really at home. we had such a laugh, they're both really funny. I came to them in my first days of being in New Zealand, and I couldn't have asked for a better place to start. I miss speaking with them! all their animals are lovely, and the coast by the farm is gorgeous. Thank you SO much for having me stay with you. I hope to visit again in the future, and if you ever come to Scotand your welcome at mine.

What i can say about Alvic . First day i meet him we bouth sow a good vibe . He is flexible and positive guy , ready to help you with everything , good cooking guy . He helped us with thr farm , making wood for winter and building places for guests . We eat together we smile together we worked together .. we are still friends after he leave the place and we will remain likr this . I strongly recomand Alvic for your place and you will not regret . Thank you for everything! We felt right at home and had a wonderful time with Erika. We had the chance to try Finnish food and learn about the culture. We won't forget cooking together and the game nights. The work assignments were easy to understand and manageable. You are always welcome here in Germany.

What a gorgeous couple and beautiful ambassadors for Chile! Feeling completely blessed to have shared time with them both… lots of great meals and laughter around the table together. Their English is brilliant. Absolutely amazing guests … so respectful in every way. Great workers and just wonderful human beings! We look forward to hearing more about the world wide adventures.

I ended up spending six weeks at the hostel and I had an amazing time! The work was really fun and chill, the staff and the other volunteers were fantastic, the food was so so good and the location pretty much perfect. I met a lot of cool new people, tried yoga for the first time and surfed pretty much everyday. I highly recommend the hostel and I’d 100% go back!!!

I owe a lot to Crezio who helped me with enormous courage and energy 💪 he is very efficient in organizing the house and tidying up, he gets up early and shows initiative, sometimes I had barely gotten up when he was already in the garden looking for chestnut or mushroomscollect logs. together we prepared the wood for the winter, cut down trees and split the logs which he stored meticulously under a shelter, we prepared the vegetable garden for the winter, planted bean trees, and pruned the trees to make BRF. he is also a very good cook, andwe had exciting conversions in French and English. we also took walks by the sea and did yoga. thanks to him I will be able to spend the winter warm by the fireplace 🙏🙏 🙏je dois beaucoup à Crezio qui m'a aidé avec énormément de courage et d'énergie 💪 il est très efficace dans l'organisation de la maison et pour le rangement , il se lève tôt et à de l'initiative , parfois j'étais à peine levé qu'il était déjà au jardin à chercher des champignons des châtaignes ou àramasser des bûches . ensemble sur un préparé le bois pour l'hiver sur un coupé des arbres et fendu les bûches qu'il a rangé méticuleusement sous un abri , sur un préparé le potager pour l'hiver, planteur des arbres des fèves, et tailler les arbres pour faire du BRF . il est aussi très bon cuisinier , eton a eu des conversions passionnantes en français et en anglais . on a aussi fait des balades à la mer , et du yoga. grâce à lui je vais pouvoir passer l'hiver bien au chaud près de la cheminée 🙏🙏🙏

What were the Odds…Hannah and Amelia, HA HA. What were the odds, this young German pair loved the ‘beach’. What were the odds that they achieved so much in garden maintenance. As well as toiling in the sun and heat, nurturing the property, Poose Poose, and I, we indulged in delightful differing meals we all created. What were the odds, that these young adventurers found ‘Bugga’ a fun thing to play and say! What were the odds this would be such fun being host to this engaging and charming pair. I’m hoping the odds favour them passing by again in the future!

We would love to thank Aika for being one of the best volunteers we have hosted. She understood from the first moment the help we needed at home. In addition, she was willing to help anytime with any of the tasks we asked her for. She even did some before we asked her ! She is a hardworker, knows very well daily home tasks and she quickly learns about other types of help, such she did with our dogs and languages exchange. Furthermore, and the most important thing to us, she was friendly, kind and even worked always with a smile. Our students loved her exhange conversations and we all had fun :) She became soon part of the family and our dogs also loved her. We know we right now have a good friend and are looking forward to meeting her soon one day. Thank you , dear ! we wish you the best in your travel and hope to see you again.

We spent 3 weeks with Boon and Ati and it was a really beautiful, rewarding and peaceful expercience. They were super generous in accommodating us, preparing food (not spicy just for us :D) and sharing the scooter with us whenever we needed to move around in our free time. We spent a lot of nice moments together, sharing life experiences, traditional recipies and cooking! The place is really beautiful, cozy and clean, really immersed in nature! We helped them in planting lattuce, tomatoes, beans, preparing the farming beds, and other daily activities in the garden. We also started together a small DIY worm farm and helped in building an oven and a wooden room for the next volunteers. Ati is very kind-hearted and generous, she gives as much as she can and is beautiful to listen to her stories that she shared with passion with us :) Boon is a profoundly inispiring guy who gives and shares all what he has with complete joy. He is undoubtly living a fulfiling life and he's feeling the satisfaction that it brings. He enjoys the simple things in life truly and tries his best to share this with us. He is never hesitant to share everything he knows with us, and he is really passionate about all the steps that he's doing :D He enjoys doing nice gesture for the volunteers, once he understood tha I liked Pad-Thai and fried bananas, he was keen on bringing all the ingredients, search the recipes and try to prepare it together :D Thank you very much guys for your big heart and everything! You will be always in our memories and we wish you the best with your beautiful project ❤️

Amadeo was enthousiastic about the project the whole summer but could eventually only come october. A big mistake on my part because his enthousiasm never dwindled. He went above and beyond what I'd ask and in and around the house he was just an amazing housemate. His skills grew as fast as his drice could follow and he was a blessing to finding solutions. To all who consider taking in Amadeo as a volunteer. Don't doubt!

Johanna and family are a truly inspiring bunch. plus all their many wonderful friends and family I had the privilege to meet. I immediately became welcomed into their family world through nature theatre, heavy metal concert, school events, birthday party, pizza and movie nights, lake house visit, kind neighbors, boxing gym workout, arcade games, card games, jokes and pranks, buffet dinner, dog walks, and lots more. great conversations about life and work and family, and helping the kiddos in the little ways I could since they are already becoming mature, independent souls. always good music practiced by this musical family, and so refreshing to see barely any screentime while they preferred reading and arts and crafts. the doggos are fast, cuddly friends very loyal and alert. work projects nicely varied from outdoor landscaping to fruit collection to house cleaning to basement finishing and more tasks throughout the busy school weeks. when free from work duties there was an easy bus into the city, enjoyable family traditions to partake in, beautiful nature surrounding, and cool Finnish culture to explore. I'll always be honored to have been invited to join this happy family to experience their lives together and share some of my own adventures and wisdom. and moreso I'll always be impressed by how much love and care is given to the kids for their bright futures through all the hard work and dedication this family instills.

We had a very nice time with Andreas and Evelyne. They were super welcoming and provided excellent food and an relaxing environment for us. They have a really beautiful place where we went fishing and walking in the woods. It was, all in all, a great experience and we would recommend it to Workawayers who are in the area pre want to go a bit north.

Sandra spent three weeks with us on El Hierro. She was a great contrast to a previous Workaway experience, for which I am very grateful. She has a great ability to bring harmony and cleanliness to the household. She completed every task with her own unique dedication, always paying attention to optimisation and environmental compatibility. She was also a great help in running the arts and crafts shop. She took care of all household-issues, the animals and drying fruit. Her independence, reliability, punctuality and willingness to take on responsibility ensured that our daily routines ran smoothly. I would love to have her back with us anytime.

Felix stayed with us for almost a month and was of great help during his stay. He helped with the olive harvest, some light construction, cleaning, ,and was able to complete any task he was given with thoughtfulness and precision. He is very tidy always keeping his space neat and clean,.always up for some interesting conversation. Very positive stay for us. We highly reccomend this young gentleman.

Vera é accompagnata dalla sua preziosa amica Ciandra, una adorabile cagnolona, buona come il pane, affettuosa e simpatica. Spero tornino a trovarci Vera is a wonderful person, very helpful, polite, and discreet. We spent two and a half months together, carrying out various tasks that she helped me manage: - vineyard work - cellar insulation - excellent co-host for house rentals - care for elderly and disabled pets - collaborated on various PlasticFree events (beach cleaning) - housekeeping help Always available and very eager to participate in everything I proposed. Vera is accompanied by her precious friend Ciandra, an adorable sweet dog, affectionate, and friendly. I hope they'll come back to visit us.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Nara im Camp und großen Spaß Rupert beim Bau eines neuen Chalet zu helfen. Der Ort ist abgelegen, und perfekt um am Fluss abzuschalten. Danke für die schöne Zeit!!

My stay at Regina's farm was amazing.The horses here are incredibly well taken care of and their wellbeing is always the top priority. Regina is such a sweet person, it's really important for her that all the volunteers have the most comfort possible. This place is amazing for if you want to get away from the chaos of daily life, the horses are all super sweet so I'm sure you'll find someone for cuddles, and there are beautiful forests in the area surrounding the farm where you can take walks or runs (feel free to contact me in case you'd need route recommendations). My stay at Regina's farm ended up being a truly amazing experience where I met great people and the sweetest animals :) Both I and my dog will definitely miss Regina, all the horses and the farm doggo ❤️ Thank you !!!
